It can’t be Embiid’s fault his team is consistently better than every team they lose to in the playoffs the first three in a half quarters of every game and then they blow it in crunch time. And he either doesn’t touch the ball in crunch time or shoots 30% from the field and makes at least one crucial turnover. No, it’s either Simmons, Harden or Tobias Harris’s fault. How does this guy keep getting passes from the media as well as the most ruthless sports city in America? It’s mind blowing.

@@Steve_R418 Embiid is a great regular season player. But every single year he plays worse in the playoffs than regular season (where most every other superstar steps up their game in the playoffs). And he has been not just sub par in crunch time but he has been a liability turning the ball over or purposefully trying not to touch the ball. When any other super star chokes they get blasted, no one is giving them a pass and blaming the 5th best player on their team (Tobias Harris). But this guy constantly gets a pass. And last year Harden single handedly won two games for the 6ers in the series they lost, Embiid didn’t do that once. He hasn’t shot over 50% from the field once in the playoffs, he has never came through I. The clutch in the playoffs. And then he blames his teammates and for some reason people accept that.
Small correction: in 3:26 it says Isiah Thomas has no Finals MVP awards, but he actually won it in 1990, while Joe Dumars won it in 1989 in the Pistons's first title.

embiid was getting 2 defenders all series vs the hawks because ben simmons and tobias harris arent aggressive players. two of the worst max contracts to ever be handed out. embiid also had an injury you neglected to mention he had surgery on during the playoffs in 2023, with harden playing like a 45 year old too.
