Your intepretation is good. The song explores the struggles of them as artists and draws parallels with the blacks' struggle across the world. It also shows that we only see the glamour of their artistry but they are from parts of the world that is really full of suffering almost otherworldly suffering(another dimension) Also Rema may be referencing black magic.
I really love your reaction to this song, the breakdown and presentation was excellent. Keep it up you just earned a subscriber, and please react to kwesi Arthur - live from 233
Beautiful reaction Camille. Cool and calm. I love this music video a lot, and thanks for reacting to it. It just made me subscribed to your channel. I love Rema. He is so talented . Much luv from your new subscriber. 🔥♥️👍
I'm so sorry😭 But my Nasty C reaction will be available in about two hours! 💓💓 I had a bunch of copyright issues. Hopefully I'll be able to upload it now (I was away from my house for a week and didn't have a computer to fix everything).
More reactions please we here for you. Check out more of Rema, Omay lay, Wizkid, Davido, Burna boy, Patoranking, Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Fire boy Dml, Olamide. No regrets just good music and good vibes
"Bad man don't threaten me You no fit kill who don die before" This is nigerian pidgin and means that the man or whoever shouldn't dare to threaten him because one cannot kill someone who has been dead before. Love your analysis. Though I have to say...as much as this was a deep video with deep lyrics, many afrobeat songs are usually about the beat than the lyrics. You should check out more of rema, wizkid, burna boy and davido. You'll love them. Lovely reaction
I have a habit of clicking on any music the TH-cam algorithm recommends to me and three years ago I came across "Fall" by Davido. I really liked the song even though I never heard anything like Afrobeat music before in America. Then I started searching up more songs like "Assurance" and slowly got into the genre. By 2019 I was listening to songs nonstop like Tiwa's "Attention," Rema's "Dumebi," Burna Boy's "Collateral Damage," and "Jealous" by Fireboy DML to name a few. I am also really into korean RnB music so I don't mind listening to songs with accents or songs that aren't in English. The aspect I like most about Afrobeat is the beat. Western songs usually follow a 4/4 beat but I think that because Afrobeat/Afrofusion songs follow a 2-3 or 3-2 rhythm, they are more appealing and catchy. In addition to that, I enjoy electronic beats which modern-style Afrobeat artists definitely produce. I decided to start doing reactions on this channel because none of my friends, family, and acquaintances enjoy or know about the genre so I wanted to talk about about new music and get recommendations from other fans. 💓💓
Wow you did well in the interpretation of Rema's Pidgin English... You did not make any mistake 🔥🔥🔥

What made you like it?
