And yes, KIRO did air the Final Four (Duke over Arkansas, UNLV over Georgia Tech) on this night, but it most likely didn't push the repeat of the 11pm news well past its usual time since this is the West Coast we're talking about...by the time the news aired live on KIRO, it was 2 a.m. in New York! More than likely (depending on what KIRO aired in syndication on the weekends then) the sun was about to rise if not rising in New York by the time this repeat ended...

I’ve got a funny story about watching color bars with the audio feed of a radio station. It was 2014 and i was admitted in to an Indianapolis area hospital. And wile i was in the hospital,, i was channel surfing through the TV lineup. I stumbled across a TV station that was off the air. They were showing color bars and airing the audio feed of KOMO-AM 1000 in Seattle. I thought that was weird.
