No kidding. This may be the best Sonic has looked in a long time. He’s got the expressiveness of Sonic Prime, the voice of Sonic Frontiers, and FINALLY THEY FIXED MY BOY’S QUILLS!! They were WAY too short in Frontiers, which was my main critique of that game.

Dude, I would love a mainline sonic game with this team involved for all consoles. This animation and art style is so nice. It has the potential to be comedic but serious when needed.

Amy is the first character you release in Sonic Frontiers, her character level comes before Tails and Knuckles in Sonic Superstars, now she's the first character in that gets saved in this game. With her inclusion in Origins and she seems to get a lot a screen time in Prime, Amy has been getting a lot of love lately. Also, is Roger keeping the deeper voice for Sonic now? I thought that was just gonna be a Frontiers thing.
Okay, no, I refuse to believe this is a mobile game. This seriously needs a console release. Those animations are freaking smooth! Also, the cute reference to Frontiers at first is just simply amazing ❤
The expressiveness in that first full motion cutscene genuinely made my jaw drop. If the next mainline game really is getting a bigger budget they better be animating these cartoon animals more like CARTOON animals.

This game looks freakin awesome, so sad it's Apple Arcade exclusive for now but also hopeful it'll be ported to other platforms! It just looks like so much fun exploring these more open-ended levels. But those new voices...Cream's isn't awful, but sounds less like an innocent child and more like a mom talking down to one. Rouge, though...it's just awful. She straight up sounds like Minnie Mouse like Amy did when her new actress first started, but now it's even less fitting for the kind of character she is. I mean, she even just got a new voice in Prime that, while I didn't think it was amazing, was still a better fit for her than this one is. Hope that if she's permanent she'll improve and lean more comfortably into her role like with Amy and the rest of the cast.
I agree, I know many people hated Rouge's 4kids voice, but I think it fitted her personality more. After all, she is one of the few characters who is an adult. There needs to be a balance between giving her a deeper pitch voice that isn't too sexualized

Nonetheless, Creams VA is still up in the air, she hasn’t been in a game title for awhile, so it’s possible she’s been recasted, but who knows.
This is exactly what I expected when lost world came out. More 3D obstacle course like levels that takes advantage of wall climbing and wacky leves and bosses. Really hyped for this one. Love the animations, in game cutscenes, voices, and artstyle. My only nitpick is the UI but makes sense for a mobile platform but hey I can play this anywhere

Not really bad, but it's amazing for a game exclusive for Apple Arcade; also, I am glad that Sonic's design uses his appearance from Unleashed (I prefer this design more than Forces and Frontiers)

My god...the fact that theres this much effort being put into the animation quality for a mobile game is mind-boggling. I love almost everything about this except for rouges voice. Like, isnt she supposed to have a soothing, flirty but mature voice? As fpr creams voice its....oookaaay???? It goes up a down WAYYY too much. Oh, so just in the first moments of sonic waking up, i saw how polished the animation was. Im just happy to say, Sega really did a great job with this game. I know its seems rather limited in where it can be played, but its still awesome to see sega doing their best!! I grew up playing sonic, so it makes me happy to see our blue hedgehog and his friends get some great treatment. I hope they can translate this type of animations and gameplay to newer titles.
Well it's on apple arcade, so it most likely has an exclusivity clause in the contract. So i'd say the PC release will happen next year at the earliest.
I am so glad for Cream the Rabbit being a part of this Brand Newest Sonic game from the Apple Arcade, *Sonic Dream Team!* I Absolutely missed her SO much from *Sonic Advance 2 & 3, Sonic Battle, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Riders, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity & Sonic Free Riders and Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood* games!
Okay first impressions wow I did not expect to see the Boost formula again but then again this is probably been in the works for awhile and it looks like hard light has been experimenting with big sandbox Style stuff and also you can move the camera too and wow it's been a hot minute since we heard the voices of cream and Rouge I really need to get used to Rouge new voice because wow I forgot how different it was compared to her other voices and cream it looks like they turn up the sugary sweetness to 11 But anyway this game looks great and hopefully I will get to play as soon as I can
This looks like a blast!! I desperately want to play this! The only things I could ask for are porting this to home consoles, and adding a juke box like Frontiers. The music is kinda making me wanna fall asleep. I get that's probably the point thematically, but for a bright, colorful open Tony Hawk-esque game like this, I DESPERATELY need the option to jam to Jun's guitar licks. Gimme those two things and I'll be over the moon.
oh my god the character animation in this is SO. GOOD. it reminds me of rise of lyric (edit: and prime!) in the best ways, the animation in that game was super expressive n that was like the best thing about that game. theyre doin some squash n stretch, using the characters' eyebrows to emote, having some sutble little expressions, letting sonic's mouth move across his muzzle instead of forcibly leaving it at the side - theyre actually expressing like cartoon characters!!! cannot stop replaying that intro scene at 3:53 and the pre-bossfight cutscene at 29:42 like my jaw DROPPED. i can only imagine what couldve been if this game had fully animated cutscenes. shoutouts sega hardlight for hearing our prayers oh my GOD
Y'know. MAJOR Missed oppritunity for NiGHTS from nights into dreams to make a comeback in this game. Due to it being based on y'know, **Dreams** and taking place in a **Dream.** it was so obvious Sega why didnt you do that? Heck! They made NiGHTS into a robot in Sonic Superstars! So why not!
What I really like is that, while they couldn't quite make a physics engine, they were able to replicate it close enough with the high jump and boost as well as the air dash.

As fpr creams voice its....oookaaay???? It goes up a down WAYYY too much. So much so that it sounds like her voice is constantly cracking.
Looks pretty solid. Only thing that seems iffy so far is Cream and Rouge's voices. Some of those line readings could've used a few more takes.
Yeah the voice problems aren't too bad at least there's not really any problems for the gameplay.
Rouge got recasted in TSR, and then it's been a long time since we heard Cream.

I don't know if anybody ever thought of this but the new Sonic dream team looks like a mix of fall guys and Sonic like Sega had a collab game with Fall guys
Oh, so just in the first moments of sonic waking up, i saw how polished the animation was. Im just happy to say, Sega really did a great job with this game. I know its seems rather limited in where it can be played, but its still awesome to see sega doing their best!! I grew up playing sonic, so it makes me happy to see our blue hedgehog and his friends get some great treatment. I hope they can translate this type of animations and gameplay to newer titles.
Boost is back to its true form. The graphics are more vivid compare to Frontiers. I like it!!!

Well it's on apple arcade, so it most likely has an exclusivity clause in the contract.
So i'd say the PC release will happen next year at the earliest.

I am so glad for Cream the Rabbit being a part of this Brand Newest Sonic game from the Apple Arcade, *Sonic Dream Team!* I Absolutely missed her SO much from *Sonic Advance 2 & 3, Sonic Battle, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Riders, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity & Sonic Free Riders and Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood* games!

Okay first impressions wow I did not expect to see the Boost formula again but then again this is probably been in the works for awhile and it looks like hard light has been experimenting with big sandbox Style stuff and also you can move the camera too and wow it's been a hot minute since we heard the voices of cream and Rouge I really need to get used to Rouge new voice because wow I forgot how different it was compared to her other voices and cream it looks like they turn up the sugary sweetness to 11
But anyway this game looks great and hopefully I will get to play as soon as I can

This looks like a blast!! I desperately want to play this! The only things I could ask for are porting this to home consoles, and adding a juke box like Frontiers. The music is kinda making me wanna fall asleep. I get that's probably the point thematically, but for a bright, colorful open Tony Hawk-esque game like this, I DESPERATELY need the option to jam to Jun's guitar licks. Gimme those two things and I'll be over the moon.

oh my god the character animation in this is SO. GOOD. it reminds me of rise of lyric (edit: and prime!) in the best ways, the animation in that game was super expressive n that was like the best thing about that game. theyre doin some squash n stretch, using the characters' eyebrows to emote, having some sutble little expressions, letting sonic's mouth move across his muzzle instead of forcibly leaving it at the side - theyre actually expressing like cartoon characters!!! cannot stop replaying that intro scene at 3:53 and the pre-bossfight cutscene at 29:42 like my jaw DROPPED. i can only imagine what couldve been if this game had fully animated cutscenes. shoutouts sega hardlight for hearing our prayers oh my GOD

Y'know. MAJOR Missed oppritunity for NiGHTS from nights into dreams to make a comeback in this game. Due to it being based on y'know, **Dreams** and taking place in a **Dream.** it was so obvious Sega why didnt you do that? Heck! They made NiGHTS into a robot in Sonic Superstars! So why not!
What I really like is that, while they couldn't quite make a physics engine, they were able to replicate it close enough with the high jump and boost as well as the air dash.
They finally make a really good looking sonic game, and it's expensive to apple arcade. Hope they port this to actual consoles or PC in the future.
Sorry to say but apple funded the game sooooo, it may just stay as apple arcade exclusive

Sonic Frontiers really enabled a lot for the franchise. Cyberspaces were fine but this is just amazing and impressive, and its a mobile release!
