He had several NGs with Shen Yue in the wedding scene in MG and in the baths and he’s also wearing other clothes. Because it’s cold and they can’t always wear their costume which will get dirty and don’t really offer enough warmth. What you need to check is the actors **reaction AFTER the kiss.** Usually if you’re acquaintances with your co-star, you joke with each other after the kiss, like how Xinxin is with Ryan Ding/ Zhang Binbin/ Mike D’Angelo and Didi with Barbie Zhue/ Shen Yue/ Qin Lan. But with each other Didi is almost always tries to act unaffected after the kiss and Esther tries to brush the kiss off like Didi’s ears aren’t red 😂. It’s typical to repeat kiss scenes if the Director is not satisfied with your performance. Doesn’t mean Didi enjoys it. It’s his job. He had several NGs with Shen Yue in the wedding scene in MG and in the baths and he’s also wearing other clothes. Because it’s cold and they can’t always wear their costume which will get dirty and don’t really offer enough warmth.
What you need to check is the actors **reaction AFTER the kiss.** Usually if you’re acquaintances with your co-star, you joke with each other after the kiss, like how Xinxin is with Ryan Ding/ Zhang Binbin/ Mike D’Angelo and Didi with Barbie Zhue/ Shen Yue/ Qin Lan. But with each other Didi is almost always tries to act unaffected after the kiss and Esther tries to brush the kiss off like Didi’s ears aren’t red 😂. It’s like what some people do to hide their true feelings/relationship.
My astonishment is that the kisses in the series chosen by the editors, directors and producers are relatively tame! It looks like there’s a lot more passion in the rehearsals and outtakes than ends up on screen. I wonder how different this would be with a PG-13 rating or for a “Western” audience? Then I’d probably be embarrassed to watch this show by myself! Lol!

So, he needs to work and remember lyric in the song "Catch you", that was in 5/2021, both DD & XX know this path and long journey they are taking together. Just like we got heartbroken when we saw DD on hi6, XX was too and she posted on her weekly blog that each one of them have their responsiblity to carry. XX: "you have your responsbility, I have mine". They both knew this kind of stuffs will happen working in that industry. I will compile a few more interviews from XX and DD so that audiences understand their history and background and their ideas.

She did what she had to do on that show, and now DiDi do what he has to do for his acting career. it's a part of their job as actors and in order to be a good actor , they beed to be in the charactor too. End of the day, it's just a job.
