I think it's ok that you'll get a special set for de SSJ3 version. But defintively the original was lacking at least one normal black/purple hair, is weird that they don't send it with that. Plus that's the one I like the most. The combined hair is super original and you can tell that they are two characters in one. When he goes SSJ, he could be any other blonde Saiyan.

I've only been subbed for about a month but I love your content man. I have to resist the urge to buy third party accessories every time I watch though lol. They do look great, but it's already so expensive trying to collect the official figures. I just went on a crazy shopping spree last night cuz Mercari was doing a 20% off everything sale. I have to hope Bandai will make an official SSJ3 Gotenks somewhere down the line.

The SSJ3 faces look kinda strange. I don't know if it's the spacing of the eyes or the pupils, but it looks... off.
At least this exists as a thing for people who want it. I wish DF would've msde theirs, but. 🤷♂️

@@Heiho_Ruiji that’s what it’s all about. Buying what YOU like. Just keep in mind that anything shown super close to camera will exaggerate potential flaws or make good stuff look off when it’s really just fine with your own eyes
You can pimp out Gotenks with the best of kits and I'd still pass. I just don't care of this character that much to even try reselling him. It looks good, real good, I'm glad there's actually his non ss head, it's crazy how it wasn't even added. Still not for me.

@@NostalgiaUnboxed I did last night. I like the effects and everything is well sculpted but the top heavyness is crazy, I mean I knew it would be cause it seems no one can do ssj3 hair without it being heavy, so I get it.

@NostalgiaUnboxed I made a video on my channel. so where the bulk of the hair meets the main head peice. when I was pushing in the head peice the back just snapped. I emailed 5ktoys a few days ago. still waiting on a response

NGL, I've never been a fan of SS3 Gotenks, always made me think of a hedgehog. But the base form head sculpts are dope AF.

Looks really sick! I'll prolly wait for this guy to be remade in however many years, because I almost bought an old SSJ Cell Saga Gohan, but now a new one is about to release so I have a hunch some characters from the Buu saga may be remade as well 🤷♂

So awesome I also got both sets from kw studio. I love the look I ended up buying two more gotenks so I have all three on display. Unfortunately my ss3 hair was broken but I think they are gonna fix it for me. Be super careful with the ss3 hair bud.

Something I wish Figure arts would sell is Hair ses cuzz I don't want to spend 30 Pounds every time I change Forms especially since I'm a new collector.
And a Kid so I like to play with them to.
Figuarts sets would be expensive like the effects set
Is it just me or does the base form head with the neutral expression have a line going through the eyes, as if they were painted over the cheeks? Not sure if it just seems that way or if they decided to make the eyes bigger without changing the underlying sculpt, hence the sculpt of the cheeks showing through the eyes.
There are some strange details like that, but only noticeable in the camera

It's not perfect when that close to the camera, but looks great to the human eye
