Definitely start doing some nucleus runs! You don't have to only do that, you can do some corpses as well, but the alloy won't just magically appear in your inventory!
Alloy is an unnecessary upgrade that 99% of players wont ever get, ironman players can safely complately igbore its existence bc its an upgrade they arent likely to ever get... im saying this as an ironman in the top 1% of mining exp, divans drill is the most over inflated piece of garbage in the game, the extra speed and fortune is nearly unnoticable and ive used the damn thing for a good 1000 hours of gameplay, gauntlet is honest to god the last mining tool upgrade i will ever advocate for, anything ahove that is purely for maximizing coins/hr which is useless in ironman bc you have a hard coin limit per day from npc selling gemstones so the only money making methods that matter for ironman are minions with enchanted hoppers. If you get exceedingly lucky and get an alloy naturally then sure use it but trying to get one intentionally is beyond just a waste of effort its straight up detrimental to progression bc you are gonna waste hundreds of hours trying to get one. I got super lucky and got one in my first 100ish runs and even now with a fully maxed divans drill i still just use the gemstone gauntlet 99% of the time
@surr3ald3sign it gives skyblock xp since last museum update and Zach wants max xp so he has to go for it eventually, and there's also a crystal hollows RNG meter so he's eventually guaranteed one, ofc there's easier things he can work towards that's why I'm not saying he should grind for it, just that he should do a couple runs now and again to slowly chip away at the grind
Open Vanguard Corpses instead, never forge umber and tungsten keys. You can even get the dwarven O thingy directly from Vanguard Corpses and are likely to get tungsten/umber keys for extra chances at dropping a dwarven O from those.
Something I don’t understand about people is why they select a specific drop on an RNG meter. If you are planning on playing enough dungeons to get a handle (for collection or whatever) then put the meter on nothing, and put it in meter when you have all the xp required. Then you can almost guarantee 2 handles or alloys or whatever.
@@aaronklein499 yes, but it is negligible in the grand scheme of things. A judgement core at 99% meter is around the same as 0%, and you could probably get one without meter, then use meter to get a guaranteed one at Eman 9.
@@OakFlyer-gq9khto get the judgement code you would’ve had to do thousands of t4s. Having an increased chance for a core through these bosses is statistically better than “saving” the meter. Statistically having an increased chance is almost always better. Also you aren’t wasting meter when you get the drop, as in all likelihood you wouldn’t have gotten the drop without meter. You only thinking you’re wasting because when you got a certain drop it wasn’t guaranteed, and feel as if you would’ve gotten said drop without meter. TLDR, you get a statistically much better chance of dropping a selected item with meter as opposed to without meter.
@@aaronklein499 At 99.99% RNG meter, there is only a 3x chance from base chance. That means that at almost max meter, the chance for a handle is only 1/333 instead of 1/1000. Collection for F7 runs is 1000, so you will need to do a lot of runs before dropping handle. If you are just running for money, not selecting anything will be better as you will get diamond necron head and an extra handle at max meter.

Rngmeter gives increased chance for that drop.
