The Power of the Joy of the Lord!

KCM Partner Dr. Avery Jackson’s grandmother had a stroke when he was in second grade. At the age of only 8, he asked the Lord, “How can I help people who have brain problems like my grandma?” The Lord responded to him saying, “I want you to be a neurosurgeon.”
As an 8-year-old, Avery had no clue what that even was, so he looked it up and told God that he would do it. He went on to enthusiastically tell all his teachers that he was going to be a neurosurgeon until he went to university and medical school. He has been practicing in Michigan for nearly 20 years.
When Dr. Avery is in the operating room, he carries the mind of Christ and the peace of the Holy Spirit with him. So far, he has had 10,000 surgeries and 100,000 patients!
On March 22, 2015, his pastor laid hands on him saying, “Your hands will be used to help people with problems there’s no answer for.” Dr. Avery went home and immediately received a huge download from the Holy Spirit, who reminded him of his research on laughter and its effect on the body.
