I always find it amusing when people criticizing street food for being street food. It is STREET FOOD. It's basically the same everywhere. You want fine dining, posh food you go to 5 star restaurants or hotels.

KL food is so much better than over 90% stalls in Penang! Penang street food is a big joke since more than 20 years ago. Less than 10% of the stalls in the entire Penang island are edible. The rest are a waste of money and your time.
Still drooling over Madras Lane curry laksa & chu cheong fun. I grew up in Pudu.
A combination of Curry & Laksa, both are among my favorite dishes
