I feel like if Merlin had revealed he had magic and led Morgana onto the same path of him, they would've become lovers. I know it's supposed to be this way though because she's the villain in every telling of the story. Dam, I thought he was gonna take a different turn then the book "Le Mort'd Arthur," where Arthur wasn't killed by Mordred and the Knights of the Round Table didn't split up.
She's not a villain in every version of the story like I think in one of the earlier videos of the story she was seen as a benevolent figure that's how she was portrayed in The Mist Of Avalon movie

I really think Merlin loved Morgana and if anything is more powerful than destiny it is love. Merlin was her only chance at being saved but it feels like he didn't truly try to explain everything to her.
Merlin could save neither morgana nor arthur..he had to watch one turn from the kindest soul to the devil..and had watch the other die..and he had no option but to blame himself for it all...
That is not her devil side.It is just Morgana full of hatred,revenge and pain for the lady Morgana because the lade morgana,the kindest one,more than everyone in the series,even more than Gwen, was killed. She was the very first dead one .,...in the cambers of Camelot and my Lancelot is second.She didn't deserve to be hated , to be called a evil.
