I am enjoying watching you work on this project and look forward to seeing further progress. Back in the early 70's my sister purchased an Anglia for her University transport and I spent many happy hours dealing with the rot and various mechanical issues. At one point I painted the entire car using a product called Re-Paint which was a brush-on finish converting it from a faded orange to a trendy (at the time) beige.
It must make the job so much better when you have a MIG welder. I remember doing some repairs to bodywork on an old Ford in the 1970's, and I had a BOC Portapak oxy/acetylene set up. I love oxy/acet, but - oh dear- the difficulty created by heat distortion!
Great attention to detail and process, so the end result is spot-on👍
Thank you Keith
... and good morning from sunny Essex. Always interested to see what's happening in sunny Retford, not just what you're doing but why you're doing it - it's always a good feeling to share knowledge and experience.
Was sunny today lol, 29 degrees!
Nice job. If you hadn't said it was extended I wouldn't have known. So the aesthetics is spot on. Subbed ya.
Top job fella 💪🏻
New to the channel, lovely job mate
Thank you
My Dad had one in the 70s & he was following it around with fibreglass , wing mirrors etc etc , how the hell are they still in one piece nowww 🤪🥴😳
Why do you make the wheel arch longer?
To allow wider wheels to be fitted without rubbing the arch on full steering lock
