I made this tonight and it turned out beautifully except that I had a devil of a time trying to attach the handle. I ended up throwing the first handle in the bin and making a new one. I didn't add any lace to the parts of the handle that I planned to stick down and there you go--easy peasy. It didn't take anything away from the aesthetics of the bag. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I particularly love the way the sides fold in.
I love the way this bag closes. When I use magnets, I put them under the DSP. That way they are hidden and secure. Thanks for sharing this adorable bag!
I love this project; Your tutorials are so easy to follow and especially like when you put the measurements on the screen. I always look forward to your next project. TFS
Linda that’s so awesome and beautiful I really love 💕 you’re tutorials. I 💭 I would have to watch you a few times to make sure I got the measurements right 😃 but you are so clear with everything you do.
I just found this purse and am loving it. Do you have a PDF and a template for how the cuts and scoring go. I did make it but would like to have the template for future. Great design.
Not sure off the top of my head, but I guess by reducing each of the score lines on the long side by 1/4 inch would leave you with a narrow side strip which would work. I would do a prototype with a piece of paper that size first before wasting any card. The short side does matter because you are left with excess to die cut as much as you like for the decorative shaped handbag lid. Maths is not my forte !!
