I'm glad the majority of people were able to stay safe Hurricane Maria killed 3,000 in PR. Building Codes saves lives need to be improved. Very sad our hearts go out to you and hope help comes soon. PTSD watching this if you've been through a hurricane.

My beloved birth country boi 😭. My family’s roof partially blew off but it back one and I’m so thankful for my Campden Park community. We do look out for each other. We will do what we got to in making sure the families with homes gets the help they need 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.

Thanks for your efforts to bring this devastation to the world .Observation: In rebuilding screw down zinc sheets no nail - That container should have been bolted down on a prepared concrete foundation .: concrete structures need steel in upright posts : Perimeter beam at the top tied all round with steel
Basically from foundation to top must be tied together with corrugated steel .Hope help comes and the Government engineers help by giving free structural design plans .

This devastation is happening all over the world. Its getting harder and harder to get donations because so many are going through destruction from natural disasters. Inflation has also made it harder for people to donate to any cause.

..watching the videos of the Cancun hurricanes and this one, I came to a conclusion, the "metal sheet" is worthless and is a dangerous object and creates a lot of debris, I should prohibit it in hurricane risk areas...
No such thing has mother nature. There's an almighty ELOHIM YAH and Messiah YAHUSHA. People forget about him only to ask for stuff when they need him. I am very sorry this happened. Truly am. I pray 🙏 that you get help. Especially from greedy investors and politicians that pocket everything. This is truly sad and devastating. We are all at the mercy of YAH. I PRAY that people turn to him and truly follow him. Not just play church , never reading the entire Bible and living however they want. Maybe he is trying to wake some people up. Because truly time is running out.

My prayer is that the people of my island SVG and the other islands that were hit by this storm would turn back to God. Lots of them, if you ask them, no longer have regard for God. Coming from being islands of worship to God to islands that celebrate iniquity. Just in the month of June, for example, they celebrated pride all month long. Where have you ever heard that in these islands? And don't talk about obeah and witchcraft. From the beginning, nations that experienced destruction to this extent are those that GOD decided to punish because of the level of iniquity and idol worship in them. I am not surprised, nor am I sad for some of them. Turn back to God is the plea.

We live in an earthquake zone. Too much concrete especially on the roofs will increase fatalities.
Galvanized is one of the best roofing there is, The problem is the installation. They have to use galvanized screws, Instead of nails. And cover the back eve properly. Wrong installation is the problem. Do your research and you’ll see how much of good protection you get from zinc.
Tin is reusable, even after a storm like this. The people do not have the same resources as mainlanders.

What happens is that rich people DO send help (by way of money, food, water, shelter, medical treatment, and on and on), and then let the corruption ensue- the criminal elements finds its way and takes over the effort - it happens every time
They have already taken taxes upon taxes upon taxes upon taxes. I think you meant 'Their lands' not there lands. With the mountains of gold extorted out of involentary payees during their existing times of needs, it only remains to be seen if the owners actually use some of the money to restore the properties build on their land. It is headed by supposedly King Charles the Third and The Pope. So my guess is The Poaists will be out with their colecting boxes for more money for them and theirs and The King will be out with his tax men for more taxes as is their norm.

Facts are with every degree warmer it gets the atmosphere holds 7% more moisture and the warmer the oceans the stronger the hurricanes will get. Teach your kids Math, Science and Physics and it will help explain the natural world. Hope they also get tradesmen on the island to help rebuild better.

Plenty of image advertising of their shiny new 757 airplane and flight centre though.

The footages are similar in all 3 of these islands mentioned they have been totally destroyed this is the worst I’ve seen.
