Nah, it sounded like two songs crammed into one and from what I've read in comments/youtube tops etc. people didn't like that aspect and that's probably why it didn't qualify.

I love this but the change in tempo to the chorus is what made the jury mark it so low cause they must think who ever made this obviously dosent know any concept of music If they think these two tempos work in one song. maybe for the public the change was annoying
I think this song is good but the transition to the chorus is absolute garbage for me. No fade. Just took away 3/4 of the tempo in the chorus and back to the normal tempo like that. That's why.

It has been 3 years ago and I'm still trying to understand what was wrong that night. This definitely deserved to be in the Grand Final, there is no doubt, but I think that it should have been in the top 10. Maybe even top 5. Every year there is at least one country, that should have got through. It was Norway in 2016!

Seriously I do not understand why Norway didn`t come to the finals this year. Agnete had a unique song, and yes the tempo shift is a bit wired, but it seems like the people of Europe dose not like something new... It is almost like it is corrupted... Even though she didn`t talk to the press and a lot of people heard the song for the first time last night. She´s talked about her mental health and it may seem like Eurovision don´t want someone with problems in their competition. Anyways, I´m still a bit sad that she didn´t go to the finals.. I was expecting her to get into the finale. I feel sorry for her, she did an amazing job. I think she didn't get into the finale cause she wasn't giving interviews, and people completely forgot about her cause of that, and was completely away from cameras all this time cause of her health problem. It was not ahead of its time. Actually it was in line with 2016, which was a good thing. Actually not that different from Estonia 2014, for example.
