Zoltan is awesome, but I particularly envy his right hand, the shape/posture, the tone he pulls out from the bass, the dexterity, etc. I kinda wondered if you would ever invite him for an interview and here it is. Thanks for sharing these contents, Geoff!

Hi Aroldo, thanks for the lovely comment! Beleive me you wouldn't have wanted my right hand at the time of the interview, had "trigger finger" hence the bandage on my middle finger to keep the tendon in place and the pain away as much as possible..Yes Geoff has created something remarkable with his website and it is very nice to be a small part of it..

@@zoltansbasslounge I was wondering what the bandage was for. Sorry to hear that and I hope you're on the mend. Thanks for sharing so much in the interview and for your inspiring playing! :-)

What is the excercise Zoltans Talking about leaving one note

It's a way of practising arpeggios by playing a two-note pattern which is misses the next note of the arpeggio out. So the pattern in a major 7 arpeggio would be root-5th (as you have missed the 3rd), 3rd-7th (as you have missed the 5th), 5th-Root (up an octave) as you have missed the 7th out, 7th-3rd. etc...
It's one of those patterns that sounds more complicated when you say it or write it out, but if you have a play through it comes very naturally.
