Alright!!! I have bought 3 second hand projectors off ebay! Got 2 casio lazer lcd projectors for £80 and a short throw NEC projector for 99p but had to buy a bulb for £50! I have bought a couple of them projectors and they both ended up with dark marks on the bulb! Just wondering of you could do a cheap Chinese projectors vs 2nd hand one for under a £100? Might make interesting video
Hmmm, the built in android isn't very good then...Only 1080p (TH-cam, Netflix etc) and this is with 5 GhZ wifi? Shame you didn't mention the Bluetooth mate, as with my current ceiling mounted projector (Apeman native 1080p) it doesn't support bluetooth, so i purchased a BT transmitter for my mounted Surround soundbar...sometimes with BT there's lip syncing issues due to lag, so i'm interested in BT capabilities with projectors....Oh and you missed your infamous USB tests (especially as it boasts 8K)...I don't want this to sound negative though Chigz as it was a great review nonetheless, and this box has piqued my interest...Peace.👊
Why are none of these budget projectors truly 4K when they have 4K written all over them? This one even has 8k????? There is a guy on TH-cam "DIY perks" who has built one using the digitiser from a 4K phone, it is possible but nobody sells one?
I'd be interested in a link for that mate...Oh and the 4K branding means that it can decode 4K/8K video (so if you had them on a HD etc) it would play them, but it would downscale to 1080p...It's the ones that say 1080p ready that you have to be wary about (as it's basically the same thing, but you'll probably get 480p, but it will play 1080p content (just downscaled) you should go for 'native' resolutions...

EU TENHO um projetor que nao funciona mais , tudo porque me mandaram um arquivo para atuslizar e resolver problema de conexão com Bluetooth e mesmo seguindo absolutamente todo procedimento informando o meu projetor nao funciona mais. parou tudo. estou tentando falar com Xgody por email mas ninguém me responde. portanto eu nao recomendo este projetor ou outros desta marca.
Great device for consuming multimedia. But for gaming, not so much, the lag is noticeable in games that need fast reactions. FPS, Fighting games, Rocket League.

2nd hand is risky, as you don't know how much lamp life is left. With projectors I would still with new.

He spent three minutes playing video games. A minute less playing the PS5 and a bit more on the claimed feature set would have been quite helpful.
BT works fine, no lag or sync issues on this one. Will start testing this going forward. Thank you for the suggestion.

The lag is extreme… I had a cheaper projector that did better 😢
