If driving on I-35 in Iowa-south of Des Moines, stop off at John Wayne's home where he grew up. What a beautiful little town. Have a picnic in their city park and examine one of the beautiful bridges of Madison County. The stone tower, the stone bridge....what great little park and great little town.
well i going to tell this john wayne was one of the best actors i ever seen on tv hollywood cant make good movies it all monkey shows now i am so glade he is not around to see the bull shit today rip john
Gene Hackman, I believe, is equal to John Wayne's capacity to act. However, the way Hackman acts and makes you feel the possibility of a person that might exist in the real world, showing the level of evil he represents, probably was the reason Wayne hated him.
The Duke was a right wing old school guy who acted the tough guy but never served. Most of his fellow actors of that day actually served in active duty.
Unlike John Wayne, who was a coward that avoided serving during WW2, Clark Gable (who was older than Wayne) volunteered for service and served in combat.
Unlike Clark Gable, John Wayne was deferred due to age and dependence. He had four children, a wife and a mother to support Gable had none of those. Try knowing what you're talking about or S.T.F.U.

@@JefftheBear1959 John Wayne was younger than Clark Gable, which shows just how big a coward Wayne was.
He was too old for in Wll.
No he wasn't, there were older people who served.
He was in his mid thrities and the government wanted him to make movies suppoting the US Government.@@genghiskhan7041
not being able to pronounce the names properly is not a good quality to have while doing a youtube show
The computerized voice enunciation mistakes are horrific.
John Wayne was a joke A ham actor in lousy cowboy films
