These WCS Signature Series videos are really great and done really well. It really gives you a glimpse into the player's real life. I didn't care much for Special before, however, I will now watch his matches with much greater interest. The other thing I really like about these videos is it deepens the fan base by offering other reasons to cheer someone on and support them other than the race they play is the race you play. This is making Starcraft E-sports a lot more interesting!

I loved the "Mexico is SpeCiaL" sign. My brother told me once that there's no chance to be a pro gamer here in Mexico, and that he'd probably support me if there was the chance. And there is. Maybe not as much in SC2, even less in Brood War. But I was a good Gears of War 3 (and on) player. And now I regret not to be more independent and to look for my own options. I could be in pro circuit now... Now I only have these dreams, getting older. Yes, I do still have more things I'm passionate about, but... I think there's a huge problem with this society, that thinks very bad about people not doing what is standard to do. Parents that just limitate their sons and daughters. Toxic relationships within the family, spreading not just into the families. It's hard... People are just afraid, jelous, angry, with low self-esteem, fighting each other. Pseudo-professionals are morphed, pseudo-families, pseudo-parents.... It's sad that they never taught me to search my own way, my passions, to trust in myself and to know they'll be there for me. Now I feel like my life is ruined. Like I turned into another crazy pseudo-person. I wish I had the balls to just go for it, to not let them get to me and be brave to follow my dreams. I'm still young though, kinda. Too old to be in pro games? Maybe not... But I'm sure not prepared for it, friends, family and people outside that circle have just discouraged me to try it. Either because they won't support me, and they'd act very mean to me, and etc. I'm broken. My will is, my self-esteem too... I'm tired. I keep watching how they treat us like animals in a farm that are raised to be just what they want us to be... Not us to show them what the world could be. A better place.

Mexico has many unique characteristics, but they do not have anything like Korean respect for education or technology. Many Koreans and Mexican work in restaurants, but the Korean's children work as engineers and doctors, while the Mexicans work in restaurants and warehouses. The biggest problem the US has is how to get second generations Central Americans to behave like second generation East Asians.

Special is really great nowadays I remember how I heard of him the first time, he really wasn't too good, so when he returned, I thought like He is gonna get rekt hard Surprisingly, he didn't and I started to like this guy and I think he definitely desrves some of those victories he wants to achieve
Serral beat Maru in a Bo1 and made it look easy. Would've been nice if Maru made it to the final at GSL vs. The World so we could've gotten a longer series, but still Serral's Bo1 win was very decisive.
