      Thank you for your comment.
This video was shot in April.
The sea water temperature in April in Miyako Island is about 22 degrees Celsius.
It will not be cold if you have a rash guard or wetsuit.
In Miyako Island, you can enter the sea from April and enjoy swimming until October.

HI love your videos, anyway do you think it's better to go directly to miyakojima island or in Naha? I'm actually planning to go but I'm torn between the two, it's my first time I hope you can help me. if in Naha is there any nice beaches near the mainland?

      Thank you for your comment.
If you are looking for clean ocean and beaches, snorkeling, etc., I would recommend Miyako Island.
If you have enough time, why don't you visit both Naha and Miyako Island?
For your information, it takes about one hour from Naha Airport to Miyako Island by plane.
The distance is about 300 km (roughly the distance between Tokyo and Nagoya).
However, Naha also has beautiful beaches.
Please refer to the list below.

I had the same issue and decided to book 3 nights in both so I can experience both beaches and city life.
