- Introducing one of the most well known casters of the Starcraft community, Dan Stemkoski. Aka Artosis (co-caster to Nick "Tastelss" Plott).
From player to caster, this man's journey had some rough hiccups, but rose to the occasion and is now well known and loved. He also has some sort of (creepy) admiration for Nestea o_O

He's like the friend who everyone makes fun of, but adores, for the fact that he takes that ridicule and is cool with it. He's an irreplaceable icon in SC2.
Artosis is one of the best casters I've ever had the pleasure of listening to over my years of watching SC2 (and later HotS). Miss hearing him.

@urs4ever86 Artosis lost a Pylon wich was powering several buildings in a tournament, don't remember against he was playing, anyway some time later idra called "Artosis pylon" when an opponent lost a pylon which was powering important buildings in the same way .
It's actually a full PvP (Artosis vs Cruncher) match with commentary by IdrA and Incontrol. You can watch the other NASL matches as well.
back in the Brood Wars days Artosis and day9 were some of the best players from USA, and Artosis got eliminated by day9 for the three consecutive WCG USA tournaments that day9 competed in.

I figured as much. But regardless of who you want to credit for the invention of the telephone the fact is that the joke wouldn't have worked without Bell, because he is the one most people know, by far.
With one year of hindsight of RT leaving GSL, it is clear he was the cake and Tasteless was the icing. RT's stone cold autistic Starcraft knowledge was the substrate upon which Tasteless' humor shined. Do not misunderstand me. Tasteless was also knowledgeable and RT was also funny. But the skinny man's analysis combined with the fat man's jokes was the formula from which legends are made.
Watch either of them alone and I am confident you will understand what I am saying.
