@kanajingly8957 ITS BALOR ACTUALLY HE WAS 40 PPG 18 RPG. BARKLEY NEVER HAD 15 RPG OR 30 PPG. BUT I DO AGREE LARRY JOHNSON IS STAR RATING BARKLEY IS SUPERSTAR.
@kanajingly8957 NOPE ELGIN BAYLOR 40 PPG 18 RPG BEST IN HISTORY. HIS STATS FAR BETTER THAN MJ HE LOST VS 9 HOF CELTICS. WELL JORDAN GOT SWEPT BY BIRD. BAYLOR OVER MJ ANY DAY.
@@TheEdub1 AGREE HE WAS USELESS IN PLAYOFF WHEN GAME START TO POST UP, WIN ON DEFENSE AND REBOUNDS, VINCE CARTER OR ZO HAD NO CHANCE WITH 5'2 STARTER. ITS LIKE PLAYING 5 VS 4 EVERY PLAYOFF.
How did Barkley make that 3 point shot with Mourning in his face? Barkley was 6'6 and Mourning was 6'10. Just a great play by Barkley. His best clutch shot was against David Robinson in the 1993 playoffs.
Barkley notoriously didn’t practice. But his competitiveness in games is second to none. Going against a young LJ with a bad back and still getting buckets.
You could tell Chuck wasn't 100%, he wasn't blocking and rebounding as much as usual. When his back is working, he's blocking alot of those shots and getting the rebounds.
Am I the only one notices that no one wants to dribble the ball in front of little Musgy? They all turn their back to him. No one tries to cross him up.. lol
@@spitnificent still I think the hornets shouldn’t have traded him they gave him a $84 million contract for 12 years and then the 1997 NBA playoffs when the Knicks and Hornets he was on fire and save his best for last for game three showing the team that they should’ve traded him As for the Hornets, they let a lot of star players go in either trades or free agency fro basically not paying market value and this all stems from George Shinn the owner
*Fellow Space Jam teammates going at it, Muggsy, Larry, and Charles.*
2 of the premium PF's from the 90's. Great matchup!
@kanajingly8957 agreed
@kanajingly8957 That's Karl Malone

Barkley is better than every big man in today’s game!
Jokic is worth 20 Barkleys!
kids, please stop mentioning draymond green in the same sentence as Sir Charles
It's completely IDIOTIC! The comparison is non-existent!
Not even close
By the way this was Barkley in the tail end of his career with a bad back. People comparing him to Draymond is ridiculous.
Green can't be mentioned with Rodman neither. I'm sorry 💯
@@mackpark3153100%
Rodman - OG tough
Green - fake tough
Barkley was a beast
It's to bad zo and Johnson couldn't have stayed together in Charlotte that was a fun team to watch
The good ole days of PF’s playing the PF position. Now it’s the “taller SF in the lineup” playing the 4
ahahahahahaha
This was a great Duel between LJ and Sir Charles. Mugsy was an elite Point Guard and Zo was a Beast at the rim.
Mugsy was good but never elite
That Hornets team was a size smaller than every other team

Keep doing what you're doing, man. This channel needs to blow up. Lots of great uploads and I'm sure there's lots more to come.

As stated in the video, Charles Barkley was the player of the game, and he won this one on one matchup.
2.44... that's a man's jam that you just don't see anymore.. players these days afraid they'll break their fingernails...
Barkley notoriously didn’t practice. But his competitiveness in games is second to none. Going against a young LJ with a bad back and still getting buckets.
in his later years he did not. But he played almost the entire season. Him not practising -> load management
BARKLEY PULLING UP FROM 3PT RANGE LIKE IT'S 2024🤔
Barkley is insane ,he is very good
Imagine having to deal with Larry and Mourning pretty much alone
Thanks Alonzo’s final year in Charlotte before being traded to the Miami Heat the very next season
🗣️CHARLES BARKLEY IS THEE G .🐐.A.T. PF . # 2 KARL MALONE . TIM DUNCAN IS A CENTER .>🎤 🏀🗑️

Crazy how both teams fell off and went 41-41 the next season.
96 Chuck was clearly in decline while the Hornets in-fighting did them in
Glen rice disappeared in a few must win games
Alonzo left due to a contract dispute thanks to George Shinn
Hornets let a lot of players go in either trades or free agency from playing cheap
Danny Schayes!!
Awesome stuff! Any chance you got some Kevin Johnson performances coming?
👍 hopefully I'll get around to posting some KJ stuff

Larry Johnson was supposed to be the next Charles Barkley. Injuries limited his potential
Nobody:
Hornets P.A : LJ!!!!!!
DOUG COLLINS SAYS : LARRY JOHNSON NOT PLAY DEFENSE HE ONLY BLOCKED 26 TIMES DURING SEASON.

LJ was insecure as he wanted to be the top Short power forward.
Again I’m going to keep saying it I still scratch my head and wonder why did the Hornets trade away Larry Johnson, to the big apple
He lost his explosiveness and wasn’t the same player. It was obvious when he was in the finals with the Knicks in the lock out shortened 99 season.

"SIR CHARLES" was a underrated small-foward overshadowed by Bird and MJ
He wasnt underrated..he was the MVP of the league..he was also not a small forward..he was power forward...nbas top 50 greatest players all time!
Barkley was a power forward
Charles traveled at the end 11.2
Plumbers they say.
Damn, Charles pulled up and splashed it at the buzzer, helluvah shot but poor defense by Zo...
If you can get the opponent to take a 3 pointer with a hand in his face, that's good defense.
Mourning play good defense but better offense
