Having the bike fall on you is a concern. I put a block under the stand if I'm on soft ground but the best option is to have the bike on concrete right at the edge of grass.
MonacoGP it’s not just for the bike falling. If it rains, the water will pour off your bike onto your blanket. If you’re on the other side you stay dry.
I always think of worst-case scenarios to keep myself on my toes and always remember that weather is unpredictable.. i can't wait to go overnight camping, first time with my toy🏍 sometime this year🍃
Clearly this solution is for fair weather camping to keep the dew or light rain off. Many times, depending on weather, I take a thermarest pad and sleep in the open air. I'm not big on full bore tents for summer camping because they're too hot.
Good video 👍
Put your tarp on the other side of the bike, so it's leaning away from you.

The wind (or and idiot) could tip your bike off the stand - leaning on the stand with a 'puck' under the stand is way way safer!
Place the tarp/shelter on the opposite side so if it rains it doesn't leak on you and so the bike don't fall on you while you're sleeping.
Put your tarp the other side of your bike, if it rains, or a heavy dew, the water will run off the bike away from you.

You are putting it on the wind side of the bike... Go off the high side to shed moisture
Your chart should be on the other side the high side

Nah, rokstraps my dude
Needs to be on the other (high) side
Your bike may fall on you with the tarp on that side.
This might be the most useless advice I’ve ever seen about moto camping.
