Nah cuz the mystic infusion only covers your skin and not your armor, whereas this one covers your armor too. That's what I wanted out of the mystic. Sucks.

To all the people complaining that it costs 5k tickets: This is supposed to be a *prestige* reward. Its for end game players that want something to work towards. If it was cheap af and everyone had it it would not be prestige anymore. And 5k tickets is not even that much.

Tbh, 5k tickets isn't even that much, I'v been sitting on 25000 tickets that I'm not sure what to spend on, and I'm FAR from someone playing the most wvw, not even THAT high rank in wvw. But yes, if you'r not INTO wvw, and want to get it, I guess it will feel like a hard grind!? but no one is forcing you to do it.

@Rediche i only ever run a little bit around there to gather some piints towards warclaw. If thats the same maps. Will have to go back. Now i know why ppl say its easy to gather hero points in wvw aswell.

What saddens me the most, that with all those leggy effects, infusion effects and MANDATORY glowy wings, instead of a playerbase we mostly see glowing winged blobs running around, looking absolutely the same, albeit a bit of a color variation of said glow. You can't even jump into Mistlock wihtout feeling the urge to put on sunglasses, or rather just setting the player model limit and quality to the lowest of low =)
Why would someone else's style preference make you sad? It has nothing to do with you, and like you said you can adjust graphic settings or even switch wvw players to standard team models.

Is it somehow mandatory to git gud in WvW? Does it give any advantages? i stopped at the 5k skirmish tickets 😂😂 it looks really cool but yeah, still working on the 1.7k or so i need for conflux...and i wanna go for the wvw leggy armor too at some point. the idea of 5k skirmish tickets after all the skirmish tix i need for those... 😂😂 but super happy that long time wvw'er and new players addicted to wvw have more shinies to go after!
Not *directly* from WvW, but when you use the special action hotkey in Armistice Bastion (the WvW Lobby Pass) you get the same effect on your character as the infusion. I'd argue it's a "WvW themed" effect due to that. Not to mention the mists trail it creates while WvW is in the mists.

Just don't use the infusion with flashy armor like Radiant as you will lose your hands. Also Mistforged armor Looks dull and no longer has the glow.
It only took 10+ years for WvW to get an infusion. At least it's quick to get and cheap if you already play WvW.

WvW takes place in The Mists so it is WvW themed, there's a reason why all the gear and titles have "Mist" in the name.
