Could you do some more styling videos? Like what I wore this week/what I will be wearing this season. I love to see styling and people’s thought process when making selections.
Great video! I actually think it's so refreshing to see the more complex take on fast fashion. Many people, myself included, struggle with the exact same thought process of knowing the harm and disadvantages of fast fashion but still not being able to cut it out completely
A video on Danish brands or a section of a video where you talk about Danish brands you like and ones you think your followers would like would be a good video I think :)
I think it’s ok to buy fast fashion sometimes as long as it’s not overconsumption and not the only thing you buy! 80% of my wardrobe is thrifted or more quality pieces but i also love my uniqlo basics for example… and i keep them many years :)
I think you’re doing a good job sharing your actual wardrobe the things you’re actually wearing not like the hauls were they don’t actually wear those clothes in real life. I’ve followed you these past few years and I agree with your content! Keep it up!! I will be watching all your videos as usual😊
I think our style evolves as we change as people, and as our lives evolve in general. I am happy to see your evolution and that you are allowing yourself to have fun with your style. Also as you go on your journey, define " luxury " for yourself. For me luxury isnt a brand name, it's picking a fabric, coming up with a design and having things made by a tailor for me. Or having beautifully hand crafted handbag with design touches I want in it.
So well said and explained how your videos are not for some people and they could just ‘move on’. I really enjoy hearing your thoughts and processes . I struggle with similar issues so I appreciate hearing how you navigate the ‘compromises’ and continuing to learn and grow from previous experiences.
I think for most people living on a normal income (eg not wealthy) it's impossible to completely avoid fast fashion, whether buying new or used. I still have some fast fashion pieces in my wardrobe that I bought 7-8 years ago.
I do still shop at fast fashion retailers. I approach it a bit like thrift stores: there is a lot of poor quality, synthetic clothes but you can find some gems! I like the styles they offer more than the "eco" retailers. However that is changing as more companies start changing their practices and sources....
Oh, please don’t feel bad. I totally understand. Sometimes we need to stay within our budget and sometimes this Means going with fast fashion items. I feel it’s good to stay true to you and your needs and do your best. 😊
I really love the tone and themes in this video about the practicalities of living life. Also, thanks so much for sharing some deets about your beauty maintenance! I wouldn't mind a longer video just on that topic haha. Cheers!
i always appreciate what you're willing to share & your unique niche of balance. an interesting video would be cpw comparison of your fast fashion vs. arket/cos/etc.
The top you're wearing in the video really suits you! Do people you know also return used items to the store in Denmark? Here in Sweden you can only return something if it's unworn with tags.
No you cannot return used items in the store in Denmark either, I was specifically talking about items that are faulty or quickly fall apart - when that happens in Denmark (at least outside of H&M and Zara, which I'm no longer knowledgable about) you walk in and "complain" and they will take the item back under warranty. It's not really considered complaining per se either, because the clerk will likely come to the same conclusion as you and just take it back. When something similar has happened in Zurich, and I've gone to "complain" about it (and yes, I promise, I am being VERY polite), it usually starts a dynamic where they tell me that I am in the wrong-and then there are two choices: leave or turn into a Karen. Lmao. I have so many anecdotes from the past 5+ years about this, both my own experiences and from friends, so here's one: I bought a standard pair of 15$ thick gold hoop earrings in Zara. They broke in about a week where the thin part that goes through the pierced ear broke off - and so I went into the store - with my receipt - and the broken earrings - and brought a fresh pair of earrings to the disk too, just saying that I wanted a new pair because the old one broke. I specifically remember that I brought the receipt in on day 9 because of how ridiculous it was. The girl I had talked to took the earrings and went and talked to someone else, and now they were 4 Zara workers standing and clearly talking about the earrings. I waited for about 5-10 minutes before walking over and asking if there was a problem - to which one of them told me they couldn't give me a new pair of earrings because they couldn't be certain that I hadn't broken them myself. And I was just like "Well... That's what a warranty is for and besides I don't want my money back, I just want an identical pair of 15$ earrings" This started a 5 min back and fourth and eventually the manager came and decided to give me a new pair of earrings - but not before hearing every person present recount the course of events as seen by them. The whole ordeal took around 20-25 minutes and I was dumbfounded the entire time 😂😂😂 Okay, so this case is quite extreme, but it's born out of this mentality the Swiss seem to have that when you buy something wearable, there's a certain risk, and whatever happens after that moment is on you - and you don't complain about it after, either. To be honest it doesn't just only pertain to clothes either. Thank you for coming to my storytime 😄🫶🏼
So true! I often get messages or comments saying that they have pieces from here that have lasted them 15-20 years, so it’s more about how you look after them… Not true lol, they don’t make the clothes like that anymore!
Hi Naja! The top you’re wearing during the video, which size are you wearing? Your own or did you size down? About to order it, but can’t figure it out.
Do you like it without the background music for the wardrobe updates, too? :)
Yes, it's more calm:)
Yeah, I really prefer no music in this type of videos
Yesssssssssss 😊
Better without music.
I also prefer no music in the background because it’s less distracting 💆🏼♀️

I agree and alot of sustainable brands aren't that stylish.

Great Video! Pls just ignore those people who think they know better etc.
I follow you for a long time now and I love how you evolved! ❤

Just to add - had this happened in Denmark, the FIRST girl would have been like oh yeah I see that, sure, and you'd be out the door in 1 minute.
@@NajaSierra hahaha WOW they just used up like 100 dollars of time just discussing it between themselves! Thank you for sharing 😄
You used to be able to get quality for H&M prices, and nowadays after a few wears (even only one) it’s trash.
So true! I often get messages or comments saying that they have pieces from here that have lasted them 15-20 years, so it’s more about how you look after them… Not true lol, they don’t make the clothes like that anymore!
Unfirtunately yes! Even my white t-shirts from 5 years ago and this year have significant quality difference.
