When a company is fully transparent and shows their work on youtube weekly they have nothing to hide and are truly honest, envy creates hate, if his business was successful as he believes he would find someone who would other him great prices depending on bulk orders. Sometimes you have to decide to stop discounts if the discount is eventually hurting your business. As proven youtube brings new customers and allows anyone to see you work and attitudes towards staff.
The fact that he didn’t answer his phone, speaks volumes. He knew he was talking rubbish. You guys have loyal customers and subscribers. I don’t think D&J projects have anything to worry about. I am a new viewer and am immediately impressed by the genuine hard graft and skill that you put into ever job. The standard of work is very high and as you mention it is all about customer satisfaction. You will always get the occasional flee under the skin in life .Eventually pests go away if you don’t give them any time. Carry on as you are keeping the customers happy .You won’t fail. Great to see such a genuine company. Crack on.😊
As a OG to D&J projects, and a customer on a few occasions I am not a trader but the grabs I’ve had price’s are is very competitive (good value) they came when they said they where coming if not earlier, I have meet both Dave and Steve and the review about D&J dose not in any way show a true representation of the way they do business my experience with there company has always been A* and that is all round! From start to finish. Great episode lads keep doing you and being you 👍👍

Tip when trying to pull treestump or lever anything upwards, Place a bigish peice of wood on the ground close to what you are trying to lever up, then just use the block of wood as a fulcrum with your shovel. Remember to get as close to the object to give yourself maximum leverage

Dave, I think I know where your Palfinger crane problems with Big Red lie. Their error codes are numerical only so I think your display is upside down and E9-LO is actually 63-07: Lever not in neutral position on start up; Extensions extending. The suggested solution is to check the wiring and connection of the spool position plug, and test a module. You may need to replace the module or cable. Hope this helps. When people grow and are successful there are always jealous bitter people lurking from the side lines. I think you were right to leave the review up. Anyone can see it’s your only 1 star and someone throwing a hissy fit about pricing when everyone knows Covid affected most areas I mean decking I used for raised beds were double the price the next year it is what it is. The main complaints are that he doesn’t turn up and you can’t get hold of him. A few unhappy with the quality. Wow, this guy hadn’t got the balls to talk to you face to face but he seems pissed off with you and your company going a cracking job and having an excellent customer service and loyal staff as part of the D&J family. I know from experience of the hotel industry people put fake reviews on the hotel’s site and they haven’t even stayed there, they do it for something to do at 2.00am in the morning when they are board. Hope this guy will man up and have a face to face talk with you as he could ruin both his own and your business by the way he is currently carrying on. This jealous trader needs to remember that he could end up with 40,000 + negative reviews .
If you’re going to find better deals elsewhere, and only order from D&J a few times here and there, you should expect your bill to be charged at customer prices and not trade prices! I think it’s fair.

the reply to the review was amazing i cant lie if someone wants to make stuff up about ur company when there are alot of facts they dont want in the public then let them out its pretty clear he wasnt happy because of the price increase even tho he dosnt shop there as much as he states he does which its just a normal thing for suppliers to give cheaper prices to traders who come in regular to keep them happy and help them out because they know their loyalty is what keeps the company running from day to day its very low to talk about prices pre covid for timber where very low and shot up after covid and are now slowly dropping and if he cant see that then thats his problem but he wouldnt of really got it any cheaper anywhere else also by the looks of it some of his recent work isnt up to standard and is anoying a few customers

Hi Dave & Steve. Yes I went through the samething in my business in Canada. I thought it was a customer at first but I found out it was competitor. He doesn't even do the same work as us but does sell same products but different brands. I had met him when he wanted me to GIVE him 3 large pieces of equipment and I was just starting out and couldn't afford to do that. He then went to another competitor and they told him to get stuffed. He then went and purchased from another company. He has posted negative reviews and complaints against us. When I found out I thought about approaching him and set him straight but he is an ass. It would also give him ammo, so I turned the other cheek. Now we are expanding and growing and it is eating him away. Just keep up what you are doing and ignore him. I find if we don't put others down and just worry about what we do - customers find out and come to us. Keep up the good work and ignore his drunken rage.😉

The standard of work is very high and as you mention it is all about customer satisfaction. You will always get the occasional flee under the skin in life .Eventually pests go away if you don’t give them any time. Carry on as you are keeping the customers happy .You won’t fail. As a OG to D&J projects, and a customer on a few occasions I am not a trader but the grabs I’ve had price’s are is very competitive (good value) they came when they said they where coming if not earlier, I have meet both Dave and Steve and the review about D&J dose not in any way show a true representation of the way they do business my experience with there company has always been A* and that is all round! From start to finish.

Tip when trying to pull treestump or lever anything upwards, Place a bigish peice of wood on the ground close to what you are trying to lever up, then just use the block of wood as a fulcrum with your shovel. Remember to get as close to the object to give yourself maximum leverage

Dave, I think I know where your Palfinger crane problems with Big Red lie. Their error codes are numerical only so I think your display is upside down and E9-LO is actually 63-07: Lever not in neutral position on start up; Extensions extending. The suggested solution is to check the wiring and connection of the spool position plug, and test a module. You may need to replace the module or cable. Hope this helps. When people grow and are successful there are always jealous bitter people lurking from the side lines.
I think you were right to leave the review up. Anyone can see it’s your only 1 star and someone throwing a hissy fit about pricing when everyone knows Covid affected most areas I mean decking I used for raised beds were double the price the next year it is what it is. I think situations like this should be dealt with in a more adult manner shame on him! 😏

Amazing video as always, you know your doing something right when your upsetting someone, I’m more shocked at a business owner doing what he has done, there’s always ways to deal with disagreements, but making up malicious lies about a company, things like this can damage some companies slightly and that will be his biggest downfall, it will backfire and bite him in the ass, things you do when sitting full of drink and drugs at 2am,

When I manage to get to the U.K., I will make a pilgrimage to D&J just to see it in person. Though I don't comment, I am a loyal follower and viewer. Keep your chins up guys, your reviews are brilliant. Had a look at Ace fencing reviews and there are some unhappy customers. The main complaints are that he doesn’t turn up and you can’t get hold of him. A few unhappy with the quality. You don’t force people to shop at D n J, and at least you bring prices down when you can. Anyway really enjoy watching your videos while eating my chicken dinner. Kind regards Dave.

Every one knows that timber prices went sky high at one time, your reply was on point With reference to being a trader and or customer. I’m not sure if I would have mentioned the law breaking, but I can see why you and Stevie were so upset. Don’t fall into the trap of prolonging this dispute . I have watched almost all your videos, you all do EXCELLENT work , and your staff are 1st rate. I’m an ex-Pat living in the USA but I would use your services in a heartbeat . Keep it up guys.

Social media can be great for positive people and even if you aren’t happy you can be constructive. There is no place for mistruths in reviews that can be disproven . Wow, this guy hadn’t got the balls to talk to you face to face but he seems pissed off with you and your company going a cracking job and having an excellent customer service and loyal staff as part of the D&J family.
I know from experience of the hotel industry people put fake reviews on the hotel’s site and they haven’t even stayed there, they do it for something to do at 2.00am in the morning when they are board.
Hope this guy will man up and have a face to face talk with you as he could ruin both his own and your business by the way he is currently carrying on.

If you’re going to find better deals elsewhere, and only order from D&J a few times here and there, you should expect your bill to be charged at customer prices and not trade prices! I think it’s fair.
Dave I feel you are handling things the right way. My best suggestion is contacting this person through a solicitor. And then take them to court for damages. You need to stop this from escalating any further.

the reply to the review was amazing i cant lie if someone wants to make stuff up about ur company when there are alot of facts they dont want in the public then let them out its pretty clear he wasnt happy because of the price increase even tho he dosnt shop there as much as he states he does which its just a normal thing for suppliers to give cheaper prices to traders who come in regular to keep them happy and help them out because they know their loyalty is what keeps the company running from day to day its very low to talk about prices pre covid for timber where very low and shot up after covid and are now slowly dropping and if he cant see that then thats his problem but he wouldnt of really got it any cheaper anywhere else also by the looks of it some of his recent work isnt up to standard and is anoying a few customers

Hi Dave & Steve. Yes I went through the samething in my business in Canada. I thought it was a customer at first but I found out it was competitor. He doesn't even do the same work as us but does sell same products but different brands. I had met him when he wanted me to GIVE him 3 large pieces of equipment and I was just starting out and couldn't afford to do that. He then went to another competitor and they told him to get stuffed. He then went and purchased from another company. He has posted negative reviews and complaints against us. When I found out I thought about approaching him and set him straight but he is an ass. It would also give him ammo, so I turned the other cheek. Now we are expanding and growing and it is eating him away. Just keep up what you are doing and ignore him. I find if we don't put others down and just worry about what we do - customers find out and come to us. Keep up the good work and ignore his drunken rage.😉
Hello D&J. Love the video this week,a range of fencing this time all showing that you always complete the job as the customer has requested. The sign of a true and completely honest company, not out to scam anyone or make anything over and above what you have quoted(even if the quote is done via email).
