ENGLAND Played At This CREEPY Abandoned Stadium 😬🏴

- As England are preparing for Euro 2024 I thought it would be interesting to look at one of the football stadiums England played at in preparation for their EURO 88 campaign... 🤔 This abandoned stadium in Aylesbury is known as Buckingham Road Stadium and has been abandoned since 2006 when Aylesbury United were evicted. In recent years it's become famous purely for this fact (it has been left to rot and deteriorate)... But back in the day 6,000 people attended this football ground and watched Aylesbury United vs England in June 1988. Bobby Robson used this as preparation for his England side heading into the European Championships in Germany. Players such as Gary Lineker, Peter Beardsley, John Barnes, Chris Waddle & Stuart Pearce played here. Today we do an ABANDONED STADIUM TOUR of what was a thriving little English Football Ground 🏟️ ...kind of. It was waterlogged quite often and it's partly that reason as to why planning permission hasn't been granted for new housing on the site 😅 Neighbours are acting as security for the ground, so go steady if you're heading there for a visit and it's not uncommon for the police to be called... 👮🏻♂️🚨

It seems really tragic that a place where people, kids, could actually play football is just left abandoned. Most towns have youth or amateur sides, just really surprised that it wasn’t taken over and used.
Shame isn’t it mate, I’d love to take control of that place & restore it to its former glory 🤩
People don't like giving away stuff like this and enjoy just letting it go like that
I know 😢
Just a heads up that Nottingham Forest are advertising their new Stadium & Museum tours. Might help complete your Premier League tours.👍🏼🌳⭐️⭐️
You should come to Dublin in September for ireland vs England
I remember when Aylesbury played fulham there and fulham won 3-2
Really good video mate, I’m from Aylesbury myself and went in the ground quite a few years back. It’s always sad to see a ground sat abandoned
“Not an ideal location to build houses”

As told to you by people who don’t want houses built there. With enough money, they will figure it out.
In the future u should blur profanity if it’s in the background
What sort of fed up pile Jimmy Savile wannabe edits video like that?
Crazy that my dad played in the final ever game in that stadium. Was his team and played for them since he was a kid
Great video mate, you are growing this channel well,
With informative content,
Nice one ry
Ry you are smashing it Lad keep um coming best of luck to you pal 👍
Cheers mate, was listening to the radio on the way bk from Luton for the Stockport score… 👏🏽
There used to be terracing all the way round the other 3 sides.
There are 2 Aylesbury teams now I believe.
The biggest game there apart from England was probably when Aylesbury knocked Southend out of the FA Cup (who were three divisions above I think) in 1989
I went there twice to see my team play Aylesbury around 2005... Sad what's happened to the ground and club since then
12th June England played first Euro 88 game, losing to Rep. Ireland.
Great vid again mate. Keep them coming.
The distance between the stands looks huge or possibly the camera angle deceiving?
Is that creepy music or a train horn? 🤔 another top/interesting video!
Cheers mate! Just some copyright free atmospheric music TH-cam provide for us 😅
Enjoyed watching your video, I recall sneaking in to Walsall Fellows Park after it had been closed, it was a shame to see parts of the pitch had been used for burning rubbish, also a bit errire as it was dark 😮
Was it around 1990 Fellows Park closed? I had a wander around the Poundland and remember reading up about it
@RysFootyParadise , yeah it did close around 1990 , ..
What. Is it called
Ry please just clip your microphone to you
No way! I remember going there when my team Swindon Town played Aylesbury in a pre season friendly.
Sad sight isn’t it mate 👎🏾
@@RysFootyParadise I knew Aylesbury had left there but I didn't know the ground was still there!
I can vaguely still remember being there and that would have been 2005. I remember it being a lovely hot summers day and Swindon won 2-1. I think they also hosted Northampton Town and Oxford United during that pre-season.
@@greatwestern_footballshirt298 wish I had the £850,000 it went for in auction… would be great to renovate that place 😁
I think Basingstoke Town Fc ground still sits there abandoned also?
Ooo I’ll look it up!
@@RysFootyParadise I do enjoy seeing abandoned grounds
I follow the yellows!!!🟡🔵
Should do a video on Rotherham United abandoned ground that still sits their now right next to the ground they play at now
My good mate Lee has done one for his channel - I’ll try get him on the livestream and we’ll check Millmoor out 😎👍🏾
@@RysFootyParadise maybe check out, Blackburn and Leicester then you can say you have been to all Premier league champions on your channel then?
@@stefanfrancis2040 good shout that is mate 🍻😎👍🏾
The government should do something even give it to a football club again or build homes or something there instesd if leaving England to look like we just leave thing for 18 years abandoned like that look awful now my guy love the video n history of the ground
it's privately owned now so I think legally their hands are tied unfortunately :(

Volunteers are keen to place up
I’d love to have the money to buy somewhere like this & tidy it up… get a little team up & running
Why can't they get someone to clean their place up
It’s been sold to developers and they’re not bothered I think
Can a charity buy it back
Or have a protest.Say no building houses
I thought u were at old Trafford 😅😅
Oi oiii
