- I donʼt know why but I couldnʼt find any full version of this speech with english subtitles, so I decided to that by my own. I believe that in this period everyone need to hear these words.
People are getting close to Prison Break and I still canʼt believe how many people didnʼt know Wentworth Miller is gay (especially how many people donʼt want to accept it).

Still remember the time when Went came out as a gay man in 2013, my husband - both of us are PB fans - saw the news story and rushed into bedroom to tell me about it and then said, "What a pity! " He always has this kinda annoying attitude when he saw a handsome/pretty man/woman is gay, which pisses me off every time. I mocked him, pity for what? you don't stand a chance no matter what.
I lived in Beijing at that time, having no idea that Went was suicidal at the year after Season 4 was out. I only knew that he's an unusual beauty inside and out, and I was just so happy that he finally had the courage to come out and no need for him to hide behind lying anymore.
Then I moved to North America, living my busy life, not paying attention to the ppl of who I was a fan once.
It's not until this year, I read what Went had gone through, I suddenly understand where the beauty of Went is from. It is from a perfectionist’s mind, a gentle and sensitive heart and a tortured soul. Those are in the depths of his eyes, making his beauty untouchable, mysterious and unique.
I hope he is much happier now.
Love him, still, 15 years later after first time seeing him, and even more.

Wenworth Miller is an amazing actor and an amazing person. He always had some kind of sadness in his eyes when he spoke in his interviews, and thatʼs because he hid so many things. Iʼm glad he had the stregth to come out and he also had the strength to talk about his pain, his depression, his eating disorder. His words mean a lot to thousands people out there, even to me.
I remeber that some months ago, on instagram, he made a post writing something like “Iʼm reminding myself that getting out of bed, making sure I drink enough water, continuing to breath in and out is, some days, activist enough. Resistance enough”. He couldnʼt know, but reading those words, in a delicate time, meant the world to me.
I hope heʼs doing better now, too.

He is definitely someone I deeply admire. I've always considered him an excellent actor, but, as time went on, and I learned his truth, it became clear to me that he is indeed an exceptional human being, a role model for sure. I do miss him on screen.

Facts, Michael Scofield is his best role probably, can't say for sure, since i only saw him in Resident Evil and as Captain cold. Only think i dislike is that i've heard he said he refuses to take straight characters roles anymore, this is not right, same as judge him because he is gay.
@@betraidif you were an actor would you want people to keep coming to you to play a gay role? Sure it limits his opportunities but at least he'll know he'll be comfortable doing it. Plus not every role needs to have a love interest or even mention a character's sexuality
This is the first time that someones speech has genuinely moved me to tears. There are so many celebrities who give "heart-wrenching" speeches, but they sound rehearsed, fabricated even. They sound like a cry for attention or just what they think people want to hear.
This speech, felt so authentic and so real that I actually cried and for a moment, i didn't feel alone.

Great actor and sounds like a great person. These days I think a problem with that community is they seem to have turned on anyone who's not a part of it as if someone who's not part of that community can't go through those same struggles growing up. All these labels they have smacked on people have just built a wall between them and created even more separation. Let me tell you, people don't have to be gay or any other form of the LGBT community or be some specific race, or anything different to feel like Wentworth did growing up. Compassion should be for all people and back when he gave this speech I think the broader message was that, today, it has changed.

I can deduced from his speech he was abused in his family because he couldn’t find help even from his family
we can't really tell this! Maybe he wasn't abused, but it is difficult to tell people how you feel, especially your family. You believe they won't understand so you don't say it and they can't help you. I'm saying this because there are multiple reasons behind a delicate thing like this
