I used to watch these videos all the time then started watching man vs pin. When I remembered threadbanger was on this channel at one point I immediately went back and was so shocked! Corrine looks so different now!
I DIY tons of things and actally wear them! Clothing, jewelry, bags, etc..I love creating my own things because I can make them the exact size and style that I want :)
I just did this with an old t-shirt and it turned out really awesome! It took a while and it's kinda tight but it looks a lot better than before. I might go the thrift shop and look for some cool t-shirts to make more :)
i did it a really weird way but it worked in stead of makeing the sleeves i made a pouch but i still made the string thing i cut the collar made to little holes on both sides then i took the string and then i tied the string on the holes and i will wear band-els or colored tank tops under it
i made one and i love it bc it's fitted at top and flowy at bottom. the only thing is that i would have to cute the end off bc they look like vampire teeth...
I am so proud of how Megan and Liz are so successful now! They are acomplishing a dream that they've wanted for so long and not everyone gets an opportunity like this. Yes their videos are a lot different now but let me ask you a question... If you were in their shoes would you keep doing the same videos?
I like this girl, she knows what she's doing and gave very helpful tips. i think she was a lot better than your previous guests...You should definitely have her back! :)
i did this with a shirt i absolutley HATED and i love it now!! thanks for posting this video. this is going to save like ALL of my huge shirts :D thanks Megan and Liz
I think you should just try to appreciate what they do for us. They asked us what we wanted to see and most of the poeple said they wanted to see more tutorials so they instantly did one and it's actually PRETTY COOL! :)
I saw your guy's video and i was like, alright, this looks super easy, and it actually was! The tanktop turned out to be AMAZING!!!! I really like how it looks- i did use a smaller t-shirt than the XL size you guys recommened so it is a bit tight on me but it looks great! I can't wait to wear it; when it stops raining outside.... :P
I use the little tags (the one you get on tshirts to hang them up) into little bows sew them all together, add on a safety pin and you have a little brooch or whatever to add your own personal twist :) xx
I'm not sure If I'm just slow or que BUT I understand that the bottom hem of the shirt was used to sew one of the sides of the shirt, so what was used to sew the other side of the shirt??
especially so recently! i understand maybe in like two or three years (say twilight.) but i don't know about hunger games since right now they cost like 25 or more dollars right?
Well, for my shirt, I just cut parts of the scraps (of the shirt) and sewed them together. I was confused too on what to do for the other side of the shirt also, I wish they said something about that in the video. :D I hope this helps!
I appreciate what they do but my point was that they didn't have to change what they did plus the tutorial they just posted is really awesome! :) I just LOVE Megan and Liz!
the way they do this is so profesh I dont even measure anything I just guestimate and poke holes in the side with a skewer then add a few more rips and tears to make it look like I just stepped out of a trash can.
Where did you get the other "string" for the other side of the shirt? When you cut off the bottom you said that was for one side so where did you get one for the other side? :)
What did they use for the other side of the shirt? Or did I miss it? I've gotten a couple of freebie XL shirts this summer I want to do this with... If anyone can answer this question I would greatly appreciate it. :)
you should quiz each other on the hunger games and the quote should of benn " May the odds be ever in your favor" or any other quotes from the book like "the more likable she is the more deadly she is" or tons of others
Is there any chance of it fraying? Or will it just do that little thing where it rolls up and just chills there? :). I got my friend to buy me a tee when she went to the Miley Gypsy Heart Tour and she got me an extra large so I haven't worn it 'cause it's so huge, so I'm gonna go do this to it, but wanna make sure it's not gonna ruin it. :)
I used to watch these videos all the time then started watching man vs pin. When I remembered threadbanger was on this channel at one point I immediately went back and was so shocked! Corrine looks so different now!
I actually made my own wedding dress and was amazed and proud all at the same time;)
They are Gingher scissors and they are excellent;)
Thank you!!! Post pictures if you make anything, I'd love to see!
It's fun to create and I like having something no one else has.
Good question! Just cut another strip from the bottom of the shirt the same way you did the first one. This time you won't have to cut off a hem.
I know, it was crazy finding it! That is the beauty of Goodwill, you never know what you'll find.
Anything is possible!
Corrine looks absolutely adorable in this video
I know, right?!! I was shocked when I found it at Goodwill. I snatched it up with the quickness:)
Practice makes "perfect"! I used to not know how to do it either;)
I DIY tons of things and actally wear them! Clothing, jewelry, bags, etc..I love creating my own things because I can make them the exact size and style that I want :)
can you do a video on how to make friendship bracelets? the ones you make out of the string that comes in all different colors
I just did this with an old t-shirt and it turned out really awesome! It took a while and it's kinda tight but it looks a lot better than before. I might go the thrift shop and look for some cool t-shirts to make more :)

I used sharpie, and I just made sure it wasn't on the part of the shirt kept, but it worked fine
So I just did this to one of my shirts right now, and I LOOOOVE it.
Friggin in LOVE with that shirt!!
I wonder if you would be able to use a shoelace instead for the sides. Don't you think it would add some more color?
I think you should just try to appreciate what they do for us. They asked us what we wanted to see and most of the poeple said they wanted to see more tutorials so they instantly did one and it's actually PRETTY COOL! :)

If I'm right, they used the hem and cut it in half so they did have two to weave, one for each side.

I saw your guy's video and i was like, alright, this looks super easy, and it actually was! The tanktop turned out to be AMAZING!!!! Where did you get the other "string" for the other side of the shirt? When you cut off the bottom you said that was for one side so where did you get one for the other side? :)
where do you get the second string from, or do you just cut the one strip from the hem in 2 pieces?
How does it look after it's been washed?
What did they use for the other side of the shirt? Or did I miss it? I've gotten a couple of freebie XL shirts this summer I want to do this with... If anyone can answer this question I would greatly appreciate it. :)
What do you use to tie up the other side?

Love the shirt recon!
Umm what do I use to lace the other side of the shirt?!

you can just cut another strip from the bottom one that you will cut out later. i preferred to do that so my strips would look the same! :)

I really, really want a hat like Liz's. Can anyone tell me where to find one like it? (:
you should quiz each other on the hunger games and the quote should of benn " May the odds be ever in your favor" or any other quotes from the book like "the more likable she is the more deadly she is" or tons of others

I got my friend to buy me a tee when she went to the Miley Gypsy Heart Tour and she got me an extra large so I haven't worn it 'cause it's so huge, so I'm gonna go do this to it, but wanna make sure it's not gonna ruin it. :)
