I get chills watching this scene. You would think it was a rock concert because of how loud the theatre got!!

To me, Rocket is the best character and my favorite. I have my own theory as to why. All of them make this scene and but here is why Rocket steals it.
Thor is there to avenge.
Rocket and Groot at this point just recently met Thor and who the Avengers are. Just learned about Thano's plan. They don't know earth and who is on it and who they are fighting and why. BUT, since they are Guardians of the Galaxy, they performed their duties, with many unknowns about. You can say Rocket should be titled an "avenger" bc of the death of ALL the GsOTG, but not an Avenger per say.
Not to mention his courage due to his size. For God's sake, the weapon is about his size and watching him run into the enemy with his tiny steps and over sized heart is amazing!!

Dude, when I was in the theater and this scene came on. Everyone was cheering so loud that you could barely even hear yourself screaming. What a wonderful experience and it was easily the best scene in the whole franchise.
It was the same for me in the theater when Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire came through the portals....

Thor entry, thor piercing thanos chest, thor holding heat of star, ironman fight with thanos. Literally this movie was fireworks on theatre

You got your wish when Cap welded Mjolnir.....but I believe that the Russo brothers are giving us mediocre movies right now, just to build up to another epic moment like this.
It's going to be difficult though, as we've grown through the years with the Phase 3 actors, we had connections to those characters. Now they're just a bunch of random heroes with vague descriptions of their backgrounds
Still gives me chills today. Along with the "on your left" from Falcon to Cap in Endgame.

We lived through amazing times with the infinity saga. Sad to say this was peak Marvel and with the stuff aside from Loki they’re putting out now…we won’t ever get these feels again.

This is the only time they treated Thor like he is at strength in every other scene they dumbed him down cause the is stronger than all of them
They dumbed down Hulk a lot and for most of Avengers Scarlet Witch as well.

@@stephencastrosc1 Yeah, after Odin died, Thor became so strong that Thanos would've _had_ to have had the Gauntlet to fight him. I hate how the MCU nerfed their powerhouse heroes. They could've just made more formiddable bad guys to compensate instead of making their toughest characers either plucky cornballs or having a fraction of their power/ability in the films. Hulk, for instance, doesn't even represent 1% of the Hulk in the comics in terms of strength, speed, regenerative powers.
@@Hard-R-Energy They even messed up Banner to, Bruce would never say that corny shit while wearing an Iron Man suit. These guys live tragic lives in the Marvel universe and they literally made all of them a bunch of clowns.
Thor in his very first movie displayed power closer to that of comic-book Thor. But he was definitely nerfed in every subsequent film until this one.
My English Teacher showed this in class as an example of the perfect Deus Ex machina
It is interesting that the 3 most epic moments I had in the cinema always involved Thor. They were respectively: 1. Cap wielding Mjolnir, 2. Thor joining the Wakanda fight and 3. Thor awakening his power to fight Hela. Such great moments. Just wish anything recent from the MCU could mimic that

My most memorial crowd reaction to a movie wasn't even this movie. It was Saving Private Ryan.
I was at a Marine base at the time this movie came out and saw it on base. During the D-Day invasion fight scene you could have heard a pin drop in that theater. All I saw was a room full of marines with clenched jaws and fists. There wasn't a drink taken or a popcorn chewed during that scene. Just a bunch of men who took watching those soldiers getting chewed up on that beach personal. Wasn't a Marine there who wouldn't have traded place with those soldiers. And when they finally climbed the hill and broke through the defenses those guys jumped out of their seats, cheered, and proceeded to lose their #$%.

This was the best. But an argument can also be made for the 1st appearance of Superman with Christopher Reeve. I was in the theater as a kid and the crowd reaction was easily as crazy.

@@BC08 You are entitled to your opinion, but I bet you that this movie will break 1 billion dollars at the box office, so yeah, that's a good start to re-energizing a franchise. And, by itself, Deadpool 2 earned well over 1 billion dollars in total, even before entering the MCU, which has already earned over 30 billion dollars in total (since starting with Ironman in 2008) with all their movies and shows. So, yeah, I think it will restart the franchise.

The only other time an audience reacted like this was the next movie when Cap was worthy. Nothing close since.
I know this is a different movie franchise I'm going to cite, but when Darth Vader saved Luke by throwing the Emperor down the power shaft, the place went absolutely wild!
Cap was always worthy
Cap did wield the hammer of Thor in the comics during the period when Asgard went to war in protection of Midgard from Set, The Egyptian God of Death. His determination to get the hammer to Thor was so complete, so focused, that he was deemed worthy to briefly wield Mjollnir (much to the surprise of Set's warriors!) and throw the hammer to Thor who was under dire attack. Thor caught it, and did his thing!@@MrDakaltiBugger
How about no way home when Toby and Andrew appeared. And the end when they all leaped off the scaffold? That shit was epic

Thor is my favorite and this is the absolute BEST moment in the franchise. Everyone is forgetting Rocket and Groot. The crowd got loud a second time when Rocket jumped down from Thors shoulder. There will never be a more glorious Trio entrance than Thor, Rocket and Groot 💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Scenes like this that just make you feel sooooo good. Superb, runs chills all over with powerful reaction from the crowd, just see Dr. Banner’s facial expression and smiling, even if you don’t know what he said, you and I know what he is thinking…."these guys are going to get their behinds kicked back to space”. I saw this scene 5 times and it is one my favorites for inspiration after a tough day. Thanks for this video. Awesome!🙂

That movie was a ride. 10 minutes after this, the crowd was completely silent. I always thought walking of out of Infinity War is what it was like walking out of Empire Strikes Back.

This scene and the the final battle scene in endgame...we'll never have another theater experience like it in our lifetime. Hope you were all there for it.
One of the few times in my life when I missed going to movies where everyone was cheering and responding to the movie.... that's what is great about movies. Sadly, nowadays you go and there are 6 others in there and one of them brought their kids who are there because it was cheaper than a babysitter.
Last time I felt this was Free Guy with Ryan Reynolds... but Avengers 3 and 4 were peak Marvel.

The only cinema moment I've experienced before a handful in the MCU was in the first Matrix, when Neo said 'No.' and proceeded to see through the system to the code underneath, and throw off (in theory) all limitation within it. But then they nerfed him too so...
