I love that you are fearless in your painting. And you always try and bring new ideas to the canvas even if you’re not 100% sure it will work. I really like this for a first effort. The fact you take risks is inspiring to all of us to just try new ideas.
Your little finger swipes are definitely bringing it to life. Not bad for a first attempt. Keep trying, you are definitely on to something wonderful. You will get this all figured out!
Love it. I know art is interpretation. I find peace in that painting. My mom passed away 3 years ago from lung cancer and I envision her diseased lungs becoming her wings when she went heaven. Thank you 🥲🤍🖤

Thank you for saying that you sometimes struggle to paint what you imagine. As a beginner at acrylic flow painting, it sure helps to hear it from a pro! I'm learning to use the hair dryer...it's tricky. My favorite painting so far was a dirty flip cup with leftover paint, for which I had absolutely no idea. Ya never know! 😊

It is a cool abstract piece that could actually be embellished with metallic pens. The iridescent paint's you use would be brilliant on black for an angel wing design. Very inspiring Molly...Indeed 💜💌👌
I love this idea. You can go so many different ways with this. Interference colors would bring an ethereal feel to the piece. I would draw a white from the top all the way down on the inside of the wing. I think that might connect the top crest with the lower portion very nicely. Keep exploring. This is really cool.

Saw an artist do a flower painting and it looked 3D. Reminded me of feathers. Wish I could remember who it was so I could give her credit. She used the backside (rounded) of the spoon and omg it was amazing!! You should try it!!! It has incredible effects!! Have to lay the paint down in layers for the overlapping but it's so worth it!!

little paper dentist cups work great for details... they're cheap and even reusable. it's just so easy to bend them and get them to do what you want... this was gorgeous tho... you're amazing Molly!!!!!!!

Experimentation is the best way to learn and develop as an artist Molly. This is an interesting abstract piece and I like the dried result. I agree not quite angels wings but still a great result. Keep on experimenting you never know where it will lead and that is the food of artists. Great job. xx

I like the way that came out. They look like 2 birds kissing. So it may not have turned out the way you would've liked, but it has a vertebrate look. Just my 1 cent

Add some soft pink or some blue into what you already have to give that more heavenly colors
