- Ekambi Brillant (Mot'a muenya: The famous / distinguished man in Douala), whose real name Ekambi Ekambi Brillant1 Louis, is an artist, Cameroonian singer born June 18, 1948 in Douala.
Son of Ekambi Brilliant, it is from Dibombari, a village near Douala. While young, he spent his childhood with his maternal grandparents in Djébalè (suburb of Douala); this is where was born his passion for music to listen to the boatmen singing in rentour their exit the sea.
In 1962, against all odds and for his father saw the difficulty succeeding in school, he was admitted to the sixth entrance examination at General-Leclerc High School of Yaounde. This is where, under the gaze of Mr. Zane Daniel - French-born music teacher, he learns the music and especially playing the guitar.
In 1971, at age 23, he stopped his studies in second grade and joined the city of Douala, where he joined the band as a guitarist The crack's4. These occur in the nightclub Le Domino. It then presents the contest of music launched by the Office of French Broadcasting Television (ORTF) and with other candidates such as Manu Dibango, Francis Bebey he became the winner. It is thanks to this prize he released his first record entitled Jonguèlè the 45s Ndolo5 who recorded 20,000 sales.
Arrived in France in January 1972, with the support of Jean Dikoto Mandengue (Cameroonian bassist), it was produced by Phonogram and released his second album 45s who was also a success with 25,000 sales.
In 1975, he broke his contract with Phonogram and binds Slim Pezin with whom he released the album with the title Africa Oumba Elongui lighthouse that was later echoed by several other artists both African and European. This album recorded a record of about 4 million sales (diamond disk). Follow collaborations with Slim Pezin as a producer for securities Soul Castel, Musunguédi.
Passage in Cameroon in 1976, Ekambi Brilliant creates his band called The Ebis (Ekambi Brilliant Show) he does come to France.
Ekambi Brillant has to his credit nearly 20 albums. He has contributed to the emergence of several artists as well as Cameroonian Marthe Zambo, Valery Lobe, Alhaji Toure and African like Cella Stella, Angelique Kidjo. All copyrights are reserved to Mr. Brillant.

j'ai 29 en 2024 et je decouvre cette chanson de cet immense "Artiste". L'œuvre que le papa a légué à la postérité est immense. Merci pour les travaux "Muta Muenya" Que la terre de nos ancêtres te soit légère.
En 1972 j,étais un petit garcon j,avais ma copine d,enfance on allait souvent danser à la maison des combattants à côté de la snel, quel beau temps, il chantait aussi au Queens club à Akwa ah quel beau temps, merci Ekambi brillant
En 1972, tout petit que j'étais, j'arrive à Douala pour passer les grandes vacances chez mon oncle maternel. Il à un électrophone (tourne-disque), et c'est ce premier 45 tours d'EKAMBI Brillant qui agrémente mon séjour à Dla. C'est avec un énorme plaisir que j'écoute encore ces chansons aujourd'hui ; des souvenirs inoubliables, plus de 40 ans après. Des chansons qui n'ont pas subis l'usure du temps. Quel succès ! Joseph Assile je me rappelle qu'en 1974 ekambi BRILLANT était en concert à Lomé Togo au palais des congrès en juin, à la fin du concert j'avais apostrophé un musicien du nom d'Alexandre ( Alex ), on avait causé longtemps. Il y avait Betty Betty qui faisait partie du groupe; elle autre était revenue seule à Lomé et ironie du sort elle avait logé dans l'hôtel où j'étais gérant, on discutait tous les jours de makossa, quand elle était rentrée au Cameroun qq temps après j'avais appris sa mort, RIP Betty!

How can a man be BORN-AGAIN?
To be Born-Again in spiritual sense, is to die to our old sinful nature and be born-again in the spirit, to be holy, righteous with a new nature in Christ Jesus.
👉To be born-again, we need to repent & confess our sinful past for a holy future.
What is repentance?
👉 REPENTANCE! Everyone born into this world is a Born-sinner. Human nature is a sinful nature. Sin in us has defiled us and has separated us from the Holy God!
We have to repent for all the unholy, lawless transgressions of God’s commandments done willfully or unknowingly, in order to obtain mercy and grace so that we might not be judged and fall into condemnation, the condemnation of eternal hell.
📖 Acts.3:19 says,..✔️Repent, then, and turn to GOD, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the LORD
What is confession of sins?
👉 CONFESSION! The guilt of sin and it’s condemnation is rolled away if one truly regrets his sinful past and confesses them in the presence of Jesus Christ.

✔️That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
