I've never played Classic before, but really enjoy your content. Keep it up! A good idea to the ppl panicking - look at what consumes your class needs for the next phases, buy them now and use them later. That way you're not dependent on the entire market, but just bought your mats ahead of time. Don't invest all your gold if you plan on buying epic mount in the next few weeks! Thank you man - great job!
also some advice which works for investing in general in life to is don't invest more than you can afford to lose.I feel like classic this time is a bit different people are less worried about min maxing and are taking a more casual approach to the game resulting in a different market all together
Botting can really put a wrench in your plan too. Yes you expect small flame sac to go up in price as demand rises. But if some bot farmer decide to focus on these items, the increase supply will lead to a drop in price, you could end up losing lots of gold too. Not saying it will happen, just saying it can happen. And bots sadly aren't going anywhere.
This is all excellent advice. But it is predicated on a "normal" economy. There is so many bots right now pumping so many resources into the economy, prices on things are worth nothing. Which is fine, but unless those bots are held in check, I can't see how things can rise in price with so much supply. What makes these items go up, is demand yes, but mostly supply as people cap and do less farming out in the world. Will be interesting to see how it pans out.
The mats cost more then what it's worth to even make rn.. makes the auction house practically useless unless your max level. Sucks trtna off stuff leveling with your professions its horrible rn. Alchemy is pretty much useless unless you got end game craftables.
Ugh, I just bought $400 worth of Bitcoin and it's been 2 weeks.. WHY AM I NOT A BILLIONAIRE YET?? People just don't get how making money works. There is no helping people.
Yet, botting has always been in the game and pretty much just as bad as it is currently. Botting in 2019's version of Classic was just as bad if not even worse than it currently is, due to the popularity of the game and the amount of goldselling & goldbuying that was happening. I believe one of many reasons why it's more apparent now is the scale of Positive Content vs Negative Content online, specifically the amount of Positive Content vs Botting Content. MadSkillz popped off recently with his botting videos, and a LOT of people who created "Positive" or "Neutral" videos about Classic WoW has either stopped entirely, started becoming negative, or slowed down how many videos they make. Example here are: Sarthe quitting (Made mostly positive videos), Crix quitting (Made mostly positive videos), MetaGoblin slowing down upload frequency & covering other games (Makes mostly positive + informative videos with some critique-content), WillE slowing down upload frequency & covering other games (Makes mostly/only positive videos). A lot of people who covered the game in a positive way have either quit, or slowed down how much they cover the game, but bot exposure has gained more traction online, making it more visible. However, if botting happening in Classic WoW makes you feel unenthusiastic about the game, I struggle to understand how you were ever enthused to begin with since this problem has always been here, at pretty much the same scale it currently is, if not even bigger.
@@SolheimGamingthis long winded response doesn’t attack the root issue. BLIZZARD CUSTOMER MANAGERS ie GMs are a sheer fraction of what they were back in the day and 2019 was no different. My main “investment” account is was banned for “economic manipulation” while gold capped and not engaging in any single person to person trade or mail. Only AH. It’s been the bots and always has been the bots and either mass reporting ability. I’ll never care about a Blizzard server ever again. And you shouldn’t give a shit either if you read this.

Great video, great advice. Explained in a straight forward and simplistic manner.
You give outstanding information and advice on how to approach the market in wow. Dont let dummies get to you.

It is always the same, still people think prices will not go up! xD
Hows those golden pearls

does dragonbreath chili even work in MC with the fire resistance?
me waiitng for prices to go up. :>
Golden Pearls are 5g because there's 25,000 bots fishing 24/7. It was 90-150g each on every server in 2019, now it's driven down by bots.
How do you think this changes on Hardcore servers, always people levelling, a lot less people at 60
The thing is that many items such as flame sacs and golden pearls will likely be botted into oblivion
I’m never listening to a TH-cam gold maker again I spent all
my gold on golden flame pearls and now I have lost all my gold 😢
😂😂
How’s those wicked claws going

Demand may go up, but supply wont drop ever with the current botting situation.

Don't invest in golden pearls... fishing bots will keep that price down.
Man you ain’t kidding cost me 200+ gold already
it's called a bear market, just hold on to the stuff and it will make money

Problem with the pearls are 90% the botting
with inflation there is no profit margin cuh
With the sheer amounts of bots in the game I've never felt so unenthusiastic about it

I just wish there was a way to make gold without AH :(
How many bots you got…..
the AH is an integral part of the game
