I got absolutely pumped there about ten years ago, a huge set came I got caught inside and held under for two massive waves at low tide, I somehow got swept about a km up the bay after they let me go. I just remember being under water and praying my legrope didn't snap or I wouldn't be writing this!
G-Land was alot heavier than I imagined seeing it in mags.....I went there and was completely different in person.....had a few huge days there, not to be taken lightly fir sure
Sure guy took a small wave, but on a big ass rising swell , he gotta be pumped to get one in heavy water and make it back to the Bingtangs. I know i would
i've been in that exact spot when it wasn't even as big as this, could not get past the whitewater, just got blasted across the reef every set. g-land definitely heavier than it looks!
Surfed it a few times with the bombie breaking pretty easy paddle.out through the key hole just time it and paddle hard, got some the biggest barrels I've ever had and wipeouts

G-land is heavy, no one around for miles when you get outside or washed in.
I love how all these nerds laugh exactly the same way. But my man is out there doing it!
Hahahahahaha
Man with the balls and the girl's with the giggles.
Exactly. My favorite surfers are the ones sitting on the beach. LOL
I used to surf big I.B. and every morning it was heavy there'd be a bunch of panzies doing the same thing why we were getting barreled

Truth. We turned up in 88 and a total of 10ppl there to ten foot monsters grinding down the point. Terrifying.
G land can be intense, I sat out there for like a hour before I caught a small 5 footer in-between the massive sets.
yeah the pictures are deceiving! G-Land gets very gnarly and very raw
Boneyards by Sunset beach on O’ahu is the absolute critically scariest in big surf. Hands hitting the reef while paddling through 10 plus!
I live on Big Island, one of these winters I gotta get up to Oahu.🤙👍
@@808adventures way back in the 70s I surfed Banyons, and other Lava breaks. Never in really big waves though! 🌴😎🤙🏾
@@erickane7093 banyons has got a cool shape for sure , barrels no matter what the size gotta love that
Hilo Bay on a straight north at 10 ft is my jam
@@keithbrock2061 Alright hope to see you out there on of these days!
Sure guy took a small wave, but on a big ass rising swell , he gotta be pumped to get one in heavy water and make it back to the Bingtangs. I know i would
That was sick! Guy made it, even with all the slack from the beach!

He made it and caught a good one! Props 🤙🏾
You guys talking about a friend who gonna go to storm, and laugh a lot, just like me, doing this from the distance 😀
Great English, Hayun. Fantastic.
Look who went out there and got it done! Bet he's having way more fun than the guys on the sidelines. Takes Guts!
I was there when it was 20 + foot when it's breaking on the bomy out the back . 2 people air lifting out broken kegs on rrrf
G land is heavy, there is alot of water moving on that reef!
Props to the guy. Any footage of sets coming through while he is out there?
Surfed the place in Indo winters of '76 thru '80. Fun times ...
No footage of him getting out? Props to him, the boys are laughing in the hut while the man is catching the vibes out there!
As the tide gets low, coming back in is prohibited at Speedy's! Good luck lads...
Surfed it a few times with the bombie breaking pretty easy paddle.out through the key hole just time it and paddle hard, got some the biggest barrels I've ever had and wipeouts
The thing is you've gotta time it. From my experience paddling out at the key hole you are still wearing sets on the head.
Yikes. You can easily die 😪
I love the commentary! Made my day.
Yeah!
Most scared I have ever been was 20 foot faces eazy g Land. Syko . Took off on one wave and came in.
Timing is everything
...This isn't Huntington anymore..gulp
Out of control. He did well.
You can get out at 19-10ths there's a Small opening
No shame here I’d be trekking down the reef to 20-20.s for some head high + perfection
It's consistent out there.. what was he thinking? Maybe it was wishful thinking
So funny the amount of people thinking Grajagan not heavy. What where you expecting you kooks???
AND ALONE. a hero
Is this the easiest spot to paddle out from?
When it's that big there no easy way, some people go for the keyhole up the point, but big sets will you wash back in.
Awesome sets of waves!!
FARRRRRRRRK That monster out the back!
Whoa...low tide pounders!
Put me in coach
perfect for a foamy
Jesus Christ, I'd be shitting myself if I were that dude😬
this place is raw as fuck
Too bad the peanut gallery can't communicate a single sentence without cussing. Lame.
PUMPIN
Gnarly! 😬
All I hear is haters
Don't be there or you gonna get drilled
There is no such thing as low tide speedies.
Yeew it's firing lads , hope yous got a few crackers 🤙
for starters dont paddle out their bro
Dudes laughing the whole time quite annoying.... More concerned about hearing themselves on camera then being filmed on camera..
You know what they say

Too big for me
That is not big, it’s only just overhead.
Tough guy 💪
@@lancejackson3618 I didn’t know surfing waves just overhead made you tough, but thanks for heads up 👍
@@paulsmith5167 You clearly don’t know what you’re looking at. Some of those waves are pretty large. Not the little tweener the guy rode..
@@lancejackson3618 🎣
It's only 3 foot.
Your scale is a bit off
Tough guy 💪
The losers sitting and laughing ha ha ha very cool
They are not good freinds
Stoners
3-4ft tops Aussie scale. Wouldn't even call that big
More like what we call ankle slappers here in SoCal
Tough guys 💪
No doubt
That is what catches you out in breaks like this in Indo, it looks 3-4 foot and fun and then cleanup sets come through more than twice that size.
