I'm not generally a big fan of rap, but i like his because his writing is so clever AND his because he raps like a singer; there's a lyrical flow, even in his rapping.
I love him as a singer because holy hell, that jazz voice he has knocks my socks off! To say nothing of his chameleon ability to bend and blend styles and genres.

Thank you for saying all this. Ren has helped so many people with mental health challenges, and his song "Hi Ren" is extremely hopeful. These people on news have no idea what ordinary people go through. It's like they've never spoken to an actual person.

I just love the artist Ren who has powerful voice, powerful message whether it's delivered through singing, rapping or both. His style is different and uniquely his.

I love this one! It’s such a vibe. I was just jamming to it in my car earlier today. Ren said this is the first song that he completely wrote, produced, played, mixed and mastered by himself.
I love both his singing and rapping, especially since he often uses a melodic tone, cadence and flow when he raps. I love his versatility, much in the same way I respect Tyler Joseph in twenty one pilots. So it would be hard for me to pick just one. I’m so glad you are going down the Ren rabbit hole! 🕳️🐇 I’ll be right there with you.
As for the CNN nonsense, I was so proud of Ren’s video response. It was brilliant (and hilarious 😹). And it was great to see the Ren army in full force. I sent a rather long email to the reporter who clearly didn’t watch the video or do any research on him 🙄 But hopefully it will catch the attention of an even broader audience as a result. I wish they would do a feature on the Lyme disease angle. Maybe he’ll get that interview with Oprah after all 😜

I would never want to pick a preference of Ren's rap vocals or his singing voice. Whatever he does, it's going to be excellent. He continues to amaze me with how technically proficient he is rapping and singing, while simultaneously having all of the dynamics, "color," and soul in his voice. Ren needs to be known world wide and then recognized for how freakin good he is at everything he does. All of these songs and videos he's produced himself are better than most everything else with whole teams of people behind the production

Both singer and rapper (sort of surprising as I don't generally listen to rap). I also love his writing, storytelling... Pretty much all his creativity & skills. He really is a master of many skills. He also seems very authentic & is always seeks to collaborate with others he respects - so a lovely person too.

You are dead right. It's so hard for him to fall either side of the rap/singing line. So we as listeners are never sure which, if any, pigeon hole he should fit into. Not gonna lie, the grit showing through as his voice matured is just pure gold. The tougher subject matter he sings about needs that smoky rasp he seems to be able to turn on and off at will!

Ren doesnt have a genre he is an artist. Does many, we just enjoy the journey.
I just see him as an artist that expresses himself with different genres of music. I love his rapping and I love his singing. I think one of the things that comes over with Ren is that when he says “well if they don’t like what I’m doing, now then f**k them” I think he knows in himself that he is dope as a rapper, a singer ect, ect and his self belief is producing such wonderful results. For all the naysayers (and I have heard a couple) that don’t think he is right up there with the best rappers, I don’t think it bothers him in the slightest and I think the double entendre of “the illest of our time” (I know it was mainly about his ill health) is testament to his tremendous self belief and his own self worth. I feel because he did lose a lot of years to his ill health, I’m sure he feels that there is still so much he is yet to do artistically. It feels like we haven’t even seen his full potential yet. He constantly challenges himself and he seems to have an infinite amount of passion and artistic curiosity to push the limits of what he is capable of. As he said in “I’m Losing It”, he is on a mission!

I feel ren is a guy who is releasing fire music. He is more of an artist than most artists. But at the same time i feel these artists out there right now taint the word artists that i almost dont want to call ren an artist. He is a legend in the making! He is the embodiment of music.

Thank you sir. His driver in this video is Sam his videographer. Does all his videos and apparently likes the one take videos that they do. It's crazy that Ren writes, makes his own beats, produces his own music and directs the videos. Rumor has it they plan on pushing an idea to Netflix after his done with his treatments in Canada.
I can only hope that a kid, or anyone, struggling and barely hanging on finds Ren’s music and finds some peace and comfort and that they make it through the other side. I wish I had had this when I was young and struggling.

I fell down the Ren rabbit hole a while ago. I don’t listen to much rap music but I love how Ren blends styles and vocal techniques together. The silver lining is I’ve spent most of my life living in or around Brighton so it’s like a game to me, seeing which area of the city he shot his videos at.
I cant chose between the singing or acting. It's just REN, he is a genius. I never saw a talent like that, never. Man i am so psyched on what is to come from this guy. And this song is FIRE BOMB FIRE BOM DAMN its so good, but really so good, i cant get over it. I love your channel and he definitely is not an average singer that is for damn sure. He’s probably gonna say a top five vocalist currently in the world. Fortunately, we don’t have to choose between wrapping or singing. I do believe singing has more talent, but is getting better and better nasty with the pen so I’ll just say this I’m glad I don’t have to choose between the two and we don’t have to pigeonhole him or put them in a box category encapsulates everything that’s why he’s the best artist today! That’s a fact. In those background vocals that he does that sound like Whitney Houston are crazy and his remixing one takes and design and everything.

He IS a CRAZY vocalist, but he could also spit bars faster and more intricate lines and flows and cadence changes better than half the rappers out there. We need to protect ren at all costs. He should be king!!!
