this is around 2012 - 2013. and yes that is the cutest human on earth - haruna - on the drums. a different look with the hat but damn - she is stunning. and of course miho on bass - those two later forming LOVEBITES in late 2016. even though DESTROSE went through about 23 members in their 10 years they were a great band formed by captain mina - minako nakamura - the blonde guitarist who is now in FATE GEAR. many members went on to form other awesome girl groups. DESTROSE were pioneers of japanese female metal.
NARUMI was a support guitarist for ALDIOUS during the tour for the replacement of TOKI, when she's was in maternity leave. NARUMI was a official member of DESTROSE, DISQUALIA AND LONESOME BLUE. now she a Solo artist.
I can honestly say that this band is ultimately responsible for getting me into most of the bands I listen to now. I was watching a DESTROSE video on TH-cam (I honestly don't remember which song it was) sometime back in 2013 when TH-cam recommended a DOLL$BOXX video (specifically, Take My Chance), which ended up getting me into Light Bringer and Gacharic Spin. From there, it was an intricate web of Twitter and TH-cam recommendations, reaction channels (especially this one), and bands playing with other bands at live shows that seriously expanded my musical horizons. Hell, it was even Mina and FATE GEAR that got me into the German power metal band Victorious. As someone who started listening to Japanese bands sometime back in the early 2000's, it's so great to see so many more people enjoying this music.
This band is the mother of the Japanese female metal scene kept spinning out brilliant musicians. Show-ya is the grand mom. Looks like this is the sound Miho liked to play.
Skykiller is by far my favorite Destrose song. But i have a full album of theirs i listen to it quite often. It is so good. Not sure what it's called but it has Maze, Headless Goddess, and Skykiller.
@ So sad that Narumi Suzuki left Lonesome blue , she went for a solo career. She plays Kiesel guitars nowadays. In 2018 she made the album “The Seed” , my favorite song from that album is “Red Rabbit” In 2024 she brought out the single “Soap Bubbles”

This is pretty damn good! The bass totally stands out and Haruna, what else needs to be said? God, I miss Lovebites with Miho 😢With her, they are a 10 of 10 band. Without, they are an 8.5 out of 10…. But that’s just my opinion… 🤷🏻♂️
Have you heard of Down Dope Squad? A cover band formed by Yoshi of Aldious. It features Saki, Narumi and Miho, along with Hina of TSP on drums, Maki Oyama on vocals and of course Yoshi. Miho and Saki are also part of Chura Metal, Toki's (also from Aldious) side project. This one has Haruka (Fate Gear) on drums and also Maki Oyama on vocals.
@@buccanero Yes, I have seen their projects on Twitter(x) I am hoping for a new band with the members, but that would be a long shot considering all 3 of them also recently left a band, or is it perfect? Maybe that is why they have been focused on projects more than groups signed to a label.

her solo EP "the seed" is so worth listening to. narumi is one of the best guitarists in japan.
