Hi may be that you over cured them as the top coat sets over the top of the mould I would try just a 5 second cure then remove the mould. Poly gel is a lot thicker so would not need curing before removing the mould. Just a thought.
Brandi, bless your heart girl! I'm so sorry you had such a hard time trying to use these molds. I greatly appreciate though you not giving up and sharing your struggle with us, cuz I would have probably chunked those puppies in the trash 5 minutes in, lol! I would love to see you try again! 😃
Well, Brandi, it's called life!🤣 Without fails we wouldn't move forward. I felt your frustration & disappointment tho. Lord knows I've failed more times than I want to admit. I only did polygel & French tips, but, the filing was too much. I was so happy to see the gel X nails! Your nails still look pretty anyway. Thanks for sharing this, so we won't make that mistake. I haven't seen this hack yet. Keep up your good work.💯💖
Appreciate you sharing the fails! 💕💕 but I have a theory that maybe these molds only work with dual forms? Since duals forms are usually plastic and aren’t meant for things to actually stick and stay, but this is just a thought. Would love to see you try these again!
Thank you 💜 love your videos you've been such a big help!!! I've just started working with poly gel I'm really loving it, you've taught me a lot!! 💅💓💅💓💅💓💅
I love that you try new things and plus showing what you consider a fail. I don’t think you fail tbh they just aren’t perfect. I just started doing my own nails about 5 months ago and I’ve improved so much watching videos like yours
I think if you sprinkled the glitters on the nail, it might have yielded a bit better smile line, but so much credit to you girl for going through the process and sharing with us👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I love your vids🥰
I'm glad that you posted the video! All shades of grey nail days happen to all of us! And I actually thought your final look was super cute - maybe just a touch of artful chaos got into that french lol.
Ok firstly, these are ALOT better then what I could do . Thank you for sticking through it. Every different method or form of nails we attempt is always a learning curve, at least for me. These are pretty nails regardless. Thanks again for sharing ❤
I feel like these would work really well with polygel because you can lay the polygel over it then remove the silicone sticker before curing and the polygel will keep it's shape
Would using a liquid latex work like a mold? I was thinking that if you use a liquid latex tape or actual Scotch tape, you might get the same results. And both are cheaper, depending on what kind of liquid latex you use and hopefully, you're not allergic to latex.
❤❤ Thanks for your most honest opinion and work because i love all your videos and tips and you save me so much time and money so thank you for sharing 🥰🥰
I appreciate this video it’s a learning tool for us all.. i’m surely still learning and i get frustrated when i look at my nails and see all my mistakes
Sooo relatable 🥰 thanks for sharing, I sometimes try things, I see nail creator's do and get so frustrated when they don't look anything like what they do, so I'm so grateful for u posting this video and I definitely don't think it was a fail, even if it didn't work out how u thought, so thanks so much makes me feel like I can just keep trying 😊 and to be honest I thought they looked cute 💅😘
Hello, Brandi, I just want to say "I didn't see it as a fail" I saw this as a learning experience. I think you were being a little too hard on yourself. What you need to realize is the important part. You kept going luv. Thanks for sharing your video with us. You taught us new beginners that it is ok not to be perfect on our first try and to keep going no matter what. I enjoyed your video and learned something new. You're Amazing and talented Brandi 🦋💙🩵💙🦋
I bought the set of 48 pieces from Ali express and had several dual forms types already and I tried it and it went smooth getting that smile line. I found it more challenging to actually set the pink part and the smile line on the nail. The forms you are using don't have enough curvature for actually setting the silicone pad. Good luck with the next try!
Girl don't worry about the fails because that's how we learn. Just the other night I was trying to hurry up on my buffing the nails because it was too thick well to go faster I thinned out under the nail made it too thin all my nails broke off at the free edge image how upset I was. Anyways we aren't just here for tips, hacks, and everything else we are here for you and it's nice to see you be human life doesn't always go the way we want it to ❤. Ps love your videos and keep your head high you're great!!❤❤
Hey I use these for dual forms! All of them have some sort of sticky film on it To keep it in place. Personally I don’t find them to be reusable after two uses. I also found in using these that it’s really best to remove them before you cure.
I first saw a Russian artist with this type of silicone insert. I felt like she may have made them herself tho and they were thicker. When I saw similar for sale I thought why not? I’m waiting still for mine to come but this was informative. Thanks I’ll let you know how I go 🇦🇺❤️
I didn’t know this until recently but apparently to size them you’re supposed to match the numbers. The one of the form and the silicone. I struggled with them too when I tried centering them and what not, it helps if you do a base coat first, it will stay put better and obviously base coat is clear so it doesn’t affect your design or anything. You could also still completely cover the form and stick it in there, pressing down enough to where there’s only a super thin layer under it …and once it’s cured and you pop it out, you can actually pull the remaining thing layer that was under it and it will come out cleanly, easily and usually all at once. I’ve seen someone do it there’s a video on here btw and you can watch and see how it’s done. I believe she does it with just a gel polish. I also wanted to say that some of these silicone molds are coming with a layer of plastic on them that you have to peel off first, I think it’s supposed to reveal a Layer that is supposed to help with adhesion while it’s in the form so it doesn’t move around while you work…but also not supposed to be so sticky/ that it doesn’t stick once you cure it and want to pop it out. 🤷🏼♀️ I don’t know….yours DID seem pretty thin and non-reusable though….crazy.
If you are going to use them for tips, could you put the nail stickers on TOP instead? It might fit better since you are just going for a design rather than forming a whole nail.
Those molds almost look like press-on stickers. Maybe they recommend using dual forms because they don't usually have a high apex so the product doesn't wrinkle around the edges? Maybe try it with polygel, yes. Sorry you had such a rough nail day. Beautiful glitter either way. 😊 Thank you for sharing! ❤
I mean I get what your saying and why you feel like it was a fail but I feel like for your first time. I think they are actually pretty and I really love both glitters you used. I say for your first time. Good job and praise also for the fact you kept going anyways. 🙂❤️
What if you put the sticker thing on top of the nail and then added your base dip in glitter pill off sticker maybe add another base coat and then top coat to seal glitter in good then do your gel x application
I was going to leave you words of encuragement, but I think I am a bit late ...lol... I will say, thank you for posting. Let us learn through your trial and errors. It is because of you and one other TH-camr that I am doing my own nails at home now. My hubby is happy because me and my best friend would spend over $100 a pop. (Our nail salon has a bar!😊)
You could do nothing but Temu hauls and i would watch all of them 😂 but I love that you do hacks and trends. I didn’t know this was a thing and now I need to try it 😂
I totally agree with you 😢😢😢 I bought the ones I saw from Shein & it was a total Fail for me also 😢 I have to find the ones I saw because the ones from Shein did not work for me! Thanks for sharing your experience with Us ❤
I've just watched another video trying these moulds. She started by removing a film on each mould before she started. Could that have been the problem? I saw you realise half way through the video that there was a film on the mould x. You did a great job in the end, would have thrown them myself x
I think they mightbwork better on dual forms bse they dont allow sticking of the adhesive on them so easier to peel unlike the gel x nails which allow stronger adhesion
Girl give yourself a break. You don’t need to keep apologizing for a “failed “ attempt. This shows you are HUMAN. It is STILL educational because it shows us what not to do.
We cannot learn without failure! Be kind to yourself...some people will never have a set that beautiful! May I suggest removing the template while the product is still wet and only stroking product on one direction...from the template edge up.
girl it's okay to share a nail fail on your channel every once in a while. you ain't perfect 100% of the time, i promise. and your subs will appreciate you more for bein "real." lmao
Toto nejsou duální formy opakovatelně použitelné , toto jsou tipy, které se celé lepí (gelem, akrygelem, polygelem přímo celé na nehet. Proto se vám nedařilo ;o) Silikonové formy jsou do dualních šablon
These suck 😂I failed with these too. They don’t work, idk 🤷♀️ what the people are using in those videos but these do not work. I’ve been trying with these I’m going to post a video soon. I’ve gotten better but they are still ugh
Experimental videos are just as good as ones where you find succession. The fine glitter with the nude base was very pretty.
Thank you!! Maybe I should do some more experimental videos 😌🤗
It's so nice to know we aren't alone in failure land😊
We all appreciate you including fails cuz we fail too and it's so nice to know we aren't alone.
💓💓
I appreciate the honesty. Showing it takes having the right products and practice.
Hi may be that you over cured them as the top coat sets over the top of the mould I would try just a 5 second cure then remove the mould. Poly gel is a lot thicker so would not need curing before removing the mould. Just a thought.

Never a fail. Just another little lesson. Thanks for learning with us❤
Thank you so much for being so vulnerable and posting this video
I do appreciate it ❤
I have no time to browse other platforms so I'm just thankful that you share these new nail hacks that I probably would never hear about, lol.

this is the earliest i’ve ever been to a post! one of my students just asked me today who i watch on youtube and i responded “NailedbyBrandi” 😂❤

The set is Pretty the glitter is Beautiful ❤️❤️I love that you left the fail in the video 😊
I’ve just ordered some myself. Waiting for them to be delivered. They do look nice well done for your first time. X
Brandi keep trying, we all have our days. Just shine like ya always do, that blue glitter was awesome!!!💜💜👍👍

I feel like these would work really well with polygel because you can lay the polygel over it then remove the silicone sticker before curing and the polygel will keep it's shape
This is a pretty neat hack I haven’t seen before!! Thank you for sharing!!
Very beautiful set of nails. Love the colors.
Possibly try removing the mold before curing in the LED lamp! They still turned out super pretty
Thank you 🤗💓
tks for another great video please try again i too struggle with french tips and would like to learn more about this method

😮 the orange and that blue glitter! Love that extension gel. I bought some as soon as I saw your unboxing video.

I was just about to say this. That could work
Cute nails ❤
I just got these in the mail today…I’m so glad I found a video… I tried with a dual form…. it was really messy…
Wouldn't you use alcohol to clean the smile line up before peeling off the sticker?
Those molds almost look like press-on stickers. Maybe they recommend using dual forms because they don't usually have a high apex so the product doesn't wrinkle around the edges? Maybe try it with polygel, yes. Sorry you had such a rough nail day. Beautiful glitter either way. 😊 Thank you for sharing! ❤
Helpful! Thank you,
Do you have the link of the video you saw them in? I'm interested in seeing what kind that person used.
I mean I get what your saying and why you feel like it was a fail but I feel like for your first time. I think they are actually pretty and I really love both glitters you used. I say for your first time. Good job and praise also for the fact you kept going anyways. 🙂❤️
Give me the link where is this form on SHEIN pls. I wanna try
I’m sorry but I don’t have the link
What if you put the sticker thing on top of the nail and then added your base dip in glitter pill off sticker maybe add another base coat and then top coat to seal glitter in good then do your gel x application
Hey Brandi ❤
I bought these same ones from Amazon, how were they different from the videos you have seen? Can you link what videos you have watched?
I watched a video from this account on Instagram! instagram.com/_thegirl.t?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
Watching from TAIWAN ❤

Plz try the other ones ❤
They actually don't look to bad may need some small fixes but not bad I do think you should try it with the other one to see if it works better
I have some of these coming…I was going to try these on the outside of the tips
What are you talking about!! The nails look absolutely beautiful, give yourself some more credit. I think they look great!

Hey Brandi things happen and sometimes it doesn't work out but nonetheless the nail set still turned out really really cute 😊❤
They have them on SHEIN in different sizes! I just bought some.
Thank you!!
Hey Brandi! How are you? Thanks for sharing
When I started out doing Frenchies I used the French cutters that you get from your local beauty supply store.
We cannot learn without failure! Be kind to yourself...some people will never have a set that beautiful! May I suggest removing the template while the product is still wet and only stroking product on one direction...from the template edge up.
Looks more like a plastic decal than silicone. They're false advertising. Tfs though. Sorry it didn't work out as you planned.
It's all trial n error, they just don't film it! Good girl, never give up!
I would have cried. 😂
Hey girl brandy what's popping good gal😊
Actually, they don't look bad. I understand that they aren't what you wanted. But, don't be so hard on yourself. 🎉

why not just try using these again, but next time use polygel
I think if I try them again with polygel then i’m going to purchase the silicone ones!
The instructions on Amazon Canada say maximum use of 2-3 times….
From my experience using them, I feel they should only be used once. I think using them a second or third time you won’t get as crisp of a smile line.
They didn’t get good reviews
Hope the ones I have coming are better
I think the finished nail were pretty. You’ve definitely done better nails but i don’t consider this a fail. They just aren’t perfect.
Thank you! 💓
