Dai i am working as a pianist in a band but i have no clue if i should give chord on a song or some kind of fillups in keys or what can you make a detailed video on how to use keys on a band??
That totally depends on what the song requires brother! If there are distorted guitars, base and drums playing the piano’s sound will be not be prominently heard. So I suggest you could play some some fill ups using chord tones (notes of the chord) or maybe add a slow section in the song where there is just soft drums and base and play the piano in the higher register since most of the other instruments will be on the lower pitch register.
