I MISS THESE RAW UNEDITED VIDEOS OF OLD!!!!!!! Thank you, awesome smooth stoner, for making me smile and remember the better days of TH-cam.
Also, I am a couch potato electrical engineer who thinks the only bad word in the world is "exercise". You made me get up and try some of these moves. Then I remembered why I don't try that shit.
Thanks again my friend. We need more of these kind of videos. Modern videos have lost that magic.

Hey, I felt exactly the same way as you 3-4 years ago. As I was learning how to shuffle no one else seemed to know about it or seemed interested at all, but we live in a different generation now! Everyone knows about EDM and shuffling and there are events held world wide for people who are interested and love raving just like us! Don't mind your school and just do you! Do what you love because you know you can't stop loving it (: You'll find people along the way, trust me.

Thats crazy. We were doin this in Houston, Tx way back in the 99. Age 14. Word on the streets at that time was Houston had the footwork. Everywherr else kinda flailed and did glow sticks. We had those finger lights and that expanding and contracting globe for that extra flair but it was all about the "kick, stomp" dance back then. At Lonestar arena im surprised we didnt level the place since we were doing that on the second floor with hundreds of people. Probably 1000!

It seems that people like some of which I saw in the comments are forgetting the meaning the real Melbourne/Hardstyle Shufflers left behind for the new gens or those just wanting to do it for fun; "Dance to express, not impress." So there is no perfect person, there is skill and style. And quote: "I know I'm not the best shuffler out there, but I think I know enough to teach you guys" -Alan. The more work you put into it the more you get out.

I bet you're younger than 25 based on that comment. The world is largely a nightmare but it goes in cycles. This video isn't "so 2010." It's "so some point in time when there was some positivity in the world." It will come back around. But you and the youth have to create it. Good times don't come for free. Be good kids, help each other, and we will have "so 2010" times again soon. Just gotta be good to each other.

Dude I'm 20, age doesn't matter in this dance! There are so many people across the world that shuffle you'd be surprised! Go to events and it'll open your eyes, if I saw a 10 year old shuffle well I'd be impressed. If I saw a 50 year old shuffle well I'd be even more impressed

Do you think I can learn it? I'm 24 but I am totally fit. I am not aspiring to be the professional shuffler but at least be good in it. Most of the people learn it in their teens.

Is it okay if I answer this question? Cool. Of course you can! 24 is not old at all dude, chill. Nobody starts as pros, and everybody at ANY age looks super clumsy and awkward while first learning. If you want to learn it, practice! You'll get it in time. ^_^

I am 24 and I have been shuffling for almost a year now. You can absolutely learn this dance. It will take a long time to learn, but it's so much fun that once I started to actually shuffle (3-4 months) I have been practicing about every other day.

Well if you are still in California ....and anywhere close to San Diego... You should stop by and try to instruct my 3 young granddaughters. Ages 10, 9, and almost 8. I really wish they could learn to shuffle old school .... you did a great job with your video .... thank you!

The goal is to keep the waist /core right where you want it at all times, generally the same high off the ground. The dancer pushes off the ground just enough with each grounding step to maintain the core's elevation, thereby freeing up the legs and feet to move seemingly weightlessly, and enabling the dancer to pull off almost anything they could do if dangling from an adult-sized toddler walker. It's the core. That's why all the best dancers in virtually any style are ripped, even if not lean (though they're often that, as well). Strengthen your core and all dancing becomes a matter of moving limbs and body wherever you want your core to go-a lot like swimming, only vertically and without the buoyancy.
