Congratulations on your purchase. Its an awesome lens as well and was considered one of the best lightweight primes out there. Though it uses refractive elements PF in nikon terminology, the image quality is great. If you don’t mind sharing, on which camera body do you plan to pair it with?
@@vhsstudios365The z50, recently had a trip to Botswana. Had the sony a7cii with the 100-400 G the nikon zf with an older 24-70 and the z50 with 300mm pf . Found the zf too uncomfortable for wildlife with the grip and dials so will use with the z50 for time being
The review is all about the lens not the combo. So it's better to pair it with the best e-mount body available at that time and find out what could be the the best outcome from that lens. If we pair it with a cheaper / less capable body, the cons could be from the body as well - say AF speed / accuracy. Hope you got the point?
@@vhsstudios365 Use a cheap camera like a sony a7 iii not a camera that costs 7200 euros then we can see if the lens is good or not! people cant be happy with these reviews because they cant see if the lens is good or not! It's al about A1 quality thats the probleme with al these reviews they are using EXPENSIVE CAMERA'S EVERY TIME!
I believe my previous reply was clear, We intended to show what best this lens can do. A7iii is having a much mediocre AF performance when compared to A1 and the cons in the outcome could be misunderstood as the fault of the lens, were in the A7iii would be contributing a great part of it. As mentioned, this review is all about what best can be expected from this lens. If we had done this review with a7iii people would comment that this lens could perform much better combined with a better camera. So this goes in both directions 🙂

A1 thats no fair review! You are using a very expensive camera with a cheaper lens!
