Pretty amazing how many of us stay in contact even if we cant watch every video or like every face book post. But we all know that if anyone of us came on here and asked for real dire help there would be an out reach of support! We had a lot of fun back with the grow your channel shout outs!
Hey Chris, thanks for the shout out I really appreciate it. I have enjoyed watching your videos and getting to know you. It's like a big extended family here on TH-cam. Those sales brochures are pretty cool. Thanks for sharing your videos with us.
Thank you Chris!! Really appreciate the shout!!! All great channels! Would love to have a 5100 or 5200 series with a loader.. almost had a 5240?? But just didn't get the bookkeeper to agree before it sold😪 BTW, bench and pocket watching... I do miss seeing everything, don't always hear it all.. but get most!!
Hello Chris, we’re running a 96 5240 two wheel drive. Dad bought it new and currently has 2600 hours. It’s synchro drive with a Quickie 66 global attachment loader. The Case/IH 5240 has been a great tractor, A few things I have replaced; return spring on the reverser lever, a forward solenoid, tie rod ends, along with hourly maintance filters and fluids . I did install a condenser fan for the a/c to help lower head pressure. Also I should add, make sure to pull the top off and clean the evaporator/heater core assembly from time to time . I have been very pleased with it. Nice brochure walkthrough , have a good one.
Those MAXXUM CASEIH tractors are pretty nice. That was a lot of good channels you shouted out. Thanks for the SHOUTOUT for my channel. I appreciate it. You are correct, my wife did the artwork for the sticker. When you get some made up I would like to have one. Thank You. As always, thanks for sharing. Take care.
They are nice tractors 🙂 You are welcome for the mention. Your wife did a great job on the art work and I will be sure to send you a sticker when I find a place to make them.
@@dehavenfamilyfarm I had my stickers made at stickermule.com I think they're out of the New York area. The wife thinks it's kinda cool to hear where the stickers are being sent to.
Hi Chris, thanks for the shout out my friend and more important thanks for the shout out on ALL these fine channels you mentioned, great video... Chris did your Case models have any connection to David Brown, I learned from Mac Farms who rebuild one now in that shape have a David Brown engine, it might be an earlier or a later model, just for curiousness
I’m behind on videos and catching up and I appreciate the shout out Chris. I have most of the others and go go pick up those I don’t and let them know you sent me. Take care and have a blessed week ahead.
A brochure review, that's different. I like it. Had often thought of including brochures in my videos, but didn't quite know how to go about it. Think I'll do something a bit different so as to leave your video idea original. Just dug through some of your other videos & found the one on the hay conditioner. That one is just like mine. It's a model 2A. They are a great & simple machine. I make my hay with one of those behind a 120 mower. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I plan on posting a few more videos of it this year. Looking forward to more videos from you & will be digging into yours some more when I get a minute. Regards!
Feel free to show any brochures or literature you may have, I enjoy seeing things like that 🙂 I really appreciate you stopping by and viewing some of my videos!
3.9 was the Cummins 4BT or 4B? Can’t remember if they were turbo or not. They were technically CDC engines, which was a joint venture between Case and Cummins, they designed the B series engines together in the 80’s and both companies had the right to call them “their” engines. 5200 series were a nice range, I think I liked the MX Maxxums a little better overall but it’s hard to ignore the styling similarities to the old 94 series DB tractors in the 5100/5200 series.
There is a channel on here called another day another dollar farming or something like that they are in NS too, they have a high clearance 5200 series.
@@macfarms The 5120 and 5220 were turbo charged. I will have to look for that channel and see if they have any videos of their high clearance tractor :)
Good morning I know you have a 5140. I have 5130 great tractor mine wont go forward or reverse. I checked all fuses silinoids everything seems ok. My forward and reverse silinoid reads 5.6 oms they tell me thats ok . Just wondering if you had the problem. Thanks
I have had a similar issue twice. Once was the forward and reverse switch acting up, and the other time was a loose solenoid located under the left panel by the steering column. Sounds like you have checked those things, so I am not sure what else to have you check. Sorry I was no help- good luck!!
The community on here is like family. It still amazes me. Thanks for the kind words. Have a good one buddy
There are definitely some good folks on here, and I am happy to have met you 🙂
