Your review helped a lot. I just noticed that the driver of the W800BT Pro has a titanium coated diaphragm... And because (at least at this point) I won't need LDAC, the W800BT Pro is a no brainer for me. Thank you and keep up with the good work!
@@DemCrumblies It just arrived and has adapted fairly well in my medium ears. For a quick listening test, I chose two songs I know well: Hallelujah (Jeff Buckley) and Birth (Focus). First impressions: the sound is very good while using Bluetooth and even better while cabled (although I heard a few artifacts because of the USB connection). I must listen to more material to be able to judge (right now, Back Seat Betty - Miles Davis), but all the frequencies seem to be in the right place and the first impression could not be better, specially considering the price paid. Cheers! =)
@@DemCrumblies I forgot to make clear that it was connected in the worst possible location, the frontal case connector of my PC... When connected to the motherboard, or the cell phone, no artifact whatsoever. 🎧
will i be able to listen via cable if I use usb-c to 3.5mm aux on the edifier w800bt pro? i want to listen on my ps4 and it doesnt support wireless. good vid btw.
Hey unfortunately I don't have a USB C to 3.5 mm adapter to test that out and the PS4 can be picky about that stuff, so unfortunately, you'd have to buy it and test it out then return it if it doesn't work. I am looking into testing out a Bluetooth transmitter audio adapter on my PS5 to see if I can use bluetooth earbuds and headphones since the BT transmitter will be wireless, but I might not get to that video until a few weeks :|
@DemCrumblies i decided to buy the tozo ht2. they have an aux port and are similar to the soundcore q30/edifier w800bt pro. so sad that sony is blocking other headphone companies from connecting to playstations wirelessly. a pair of sony headphones would probably work.
Hey I haven't used any of Soundcore's headphones to say how these compare when it comes to audio quality, but they are both Hi-Res Audio certified. I notice the Soundcore has an AUX input also, while the Edifier has a USB C input, so if you ever need to use the headphones with a 3.5mm aux port, then the Soundcore is the better option. From the photos and reviews online, I feel like the Edifier would have better build quality though and I just prefer the sleeker look of the Edifier personally.
@@lukekycisbontuyan4824 So I haven't removed them, but if you go to this page, it shows how to remove them on the previous W800BT model, so it should be a similar process: shop.geekria.com/products/geekria-quickfit-protein-leather-replacement-ear-pads-for-edifier-w800bt-cmiit-id-2019dp1007-headphones-earpads-headset-ear-cushion-repair-parts-grey
Hello, I ordered it and trying to charge it, when i plug it in the light is red then turns off and stays off. Does that mean it is still charging or stopped? How can I tell if it is charging? 😁
Hmm even the manual doesn't say anything about the status LED lights. Try this, when you pair it with your phone or PC by Bluetooth, check the battery level and if it's at 100%, then you'll know it's cutting off because it's fully charged. If the battery life isn't at 100% and the red light turns off and stays off, then you might have to try another USB cable or charging brick.
@@celinaeverydaymindfulmeals That definitely doesn't sound right. Try to charge your headphones using the cable that came in the box using a charging brick or plugging it into your laptop or desktop and leave it plugged in for at least 5 to 10 minutes to see if the red LED light stays on. If it doesn't, I would contact Edifier support or exchange it for another unit.
I think all you can do is maybe try to tuck your hair back behind your ears so that when the headphones go over the top of your ears, it's more a close fit with less gaps.
The sound is good on them, but it isn't better than the W830NB. The W8300NB has more battery life, Wireless Hi-Res Audio while this only has Hi-Res Audio when connected by USB C cable. The W830NB also has LDAC functionality and this doesn't. If you don't need all those features though, this is still a great option.
@DemCrumblies kk at this point I was searching for other better headphone and I found some no brained headphones they are the ugreen hitune max5c they have ldac and anc for like 50 bucks you should check them out

Is this better than Sony WH-CH520?
Hey sorry I haven't used to Sony to say for sure.
Thanks for the review, is it better than W820NB?

Hi can you show how to remove the earpads, coz I'd like to replace mine but I dont know how.
Hey I never tried to remove them personally. I would contact Edifier Support about that in case you damage anything and it isn't covered by warranty.
Do it on your own risk: Grab a side of the pad(whichever) with YOUR WHOLE PALM(very important to not rip the pad), then slightly pull it outwards
any news on how to change the pads?

What power adapter can I use to charge them (voltage)?
Hey there, any standard power brick that can supply at least 5 volts should be fine. You can also just plug them into a laptop USB or desktop port.
@@DemCrumblies So if I plug it into my 20 watt unit, everything will be fine?

Is the bass good??
Yep, it's pretty good for the price, but it won't be crazy bass like where the entire headphone cup is vibrating like with some brands.
