LAST ON MY BUCKET LIST. LOVE MUSTANGS. WHEN I PASS I WANT TO BE RECALLING THE RIDE I HAD IN A MUSTANG. NOW RESTORING A 1940 J-3. BENT WILLY GRASS STRIP LAKE WALES.
My dream and goal, possibly this year (2021). I wonder if I'd be authorized to do takeoffs/landings being tail-wheel certified? If I'm getting teary-eyed just watching this, I'm curious if I'd waste part of my expensive flight trying to see through, or wiping away, my tears?!
Maybe not the takeoff since they don't know your abilities until they get you up and check you out. I was SO surprised that he let me land, although you know the instructors hand is on the stick and his feet are on the pedals. I don't mind saying I was getting pretty nervous on the downwind and was waiting for him to say "I've got the airplane" but he never did until the tailwheel touched down. An experience that I will never, ever forget. My biggest problem was not the tears in my eyes but the lump in my throat!
What a great instructor! So very clear and so easy to follow his instructions. I felt like I was "doing it myself." Thanks!
Yes, John "Homer" Black is a great instructor. He was very good for my ego as well.
I rode with Homer..what a great experience..John Black and money penny are the best even thou she is not there no more
Watching your video has me thinking about taking my third flight in Crazy Horse. Thanks for sharing your experience!
MANY TIMES I CAN SEE AND HEAR THIS MUSTANG FLYING OVER MY HOME IN LAKE WALES FLORIDA.

What an awesome flight Dan...can't imagine how stoked you were! Thanks for sharing
Seen Crazy Horse at Oshkosh back in the mid 90s. I wanted to take a ride so bad.... 😕
