What is wrong with you/why would you do this? -I was bored as fuck in my old town because it was completed. Yeah, I probably should have just built another town on a different copy of this game, but I didn’t feel like doing that.

I hate to be that guy, but i think the currency in animal crossing is close to the value of japanese yen, so technically 1 billion yen is about 9 million usd.

i was looking for a specific layout and thinking about where routes and paths were going to go when i chose the map. i was also looking for potential house placements for characters and i wanted the main buildings in certain spots. in my opinion, i chose the best map for what i was planning on doing with my town

I’d left my (perfect) town for like 5 months and when I came back my favorite neighbor (Aurora) had moved. So, in rage, I re-created the town. I’ve still never been able to get to the level I was at with that first town. I don’t regret it though, Aurora was awesome.

You can go through the entire process of selling your town and getting a new one, as long as you turn off your device before anything saves.
just go slow, you can get it appraised and then tell nook you changed your mind.

This game gives me sad and happy memories, it makes me remove the neglect I received from my father whenever I visited him but it also reminds me how happy I was to play shame in my own world where they're were no errors, watching this makes me cry but the tears feel cold and minty, old if anyone understands this cry

Yes, the money transferred over. For me, I got about 10 million bells a day that went straight into the bank in the post office. You do get to rename your town and start completely over.

After you upgrade to T&T Mart, there will be a red box thing inside of the store. If you go up to it and press A, it will take you to your catalog where you can reorder some items and see everything you've had in your pockets before.

you have to pretty much invest your 'soul' into a town; buy every upgrade, every item, every project. it takes years, and loads of patience hun. and when you go to sell your town, tom nook will pay you what your town was worth.

How do you make your town sell for more bells?
if you have a lot of public works projects, hybrid flowers, and multiple players, it will sell for a lot more. it also depends on what you already have saved up in your bank at the post office. i had multiple characters and each had over 100 million bells, so the price ended up being a lot.
Also depending on how big your catalog is. I sold my town for 27 mil but if i decided to sell my catalog i would of gotten 35 mil for how much stuff i had saved up from 2 previous town saves.

The day I sold my town was probably the worst day of my life. The regret hit me like a fucking bus. Knowing I can’t get my old town back is what really hurts. All the years of hard work and dedication... All I have left are pictures and the catalog. So yeah I don’t recommend this if you’re really attached to your current town :)
