The thing for me is I don't have the ability to go out of my house unless someone else drives me or I walk. There are some churches in walking distance, but I know I shouldn't go to church to only meet a man. I've sometimes wondered if I'm meant to meet a foreign man by visiting a new country. I constantly pray if the man I'm supposed to meet is really far away. But, he may be in the same country and maybe we're just in a different city or town. I would really like to know someone from a different place in the world than myself. Please Ashley, pray that the man of God that finds me is willing to travel to another country for us to be together though we may not speak the same language?

It might sound cliche but don't even worry about men. Just do God's will every single day. Be so deep in relationship with him and your vocation/calling/tasks that you look up and notice pursuit. Absolute trust in His sovereignty. The way I look at it is like headship or submission. Being under God and that man has to click inbetween that. That cuts a lot of nonsense out.

i have a question. since the bible says nothing about dating, how do we know that arranged marriages arent what God wants. im genuinely asking because i come from a culture where marriages are mostly arranged. by arranged i don't mean that they meet like on the wedding day or a week before. but they are introduced to each other only after a background check by parents and then court with the purpose of imminent marriage. like no year long engagement and all. so how do we know that dating (like for months and years) is even biblically correct?
There technically isn't any scripture referring to the correctness of dating but there are verses that talk about what a good relationship should be. Here's Romans 12:9-10: "Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor." If you don't love the person that is introduced to you, the relationship is over immediately. Remember you're the one going to deal with the individual (supposedly for the rest of your life). It's best to avoid arranged marriages altogether if you can. Hope that helps. 🙂
@@MukisaSS while i agree on the verse you used, i am not saying that you marry someone you don't love. ofcourse there are unfortunate instances where people are forced to wed but that's not what i am referring to. rather, like going out for fun without accountabilty especially at a young age.. when i refer to arranged marriages i'm talking about the ones where the partner has been vetted by the parents and confirmed with the pastor of their church on their relationship with God andinvolvement in the ministry before they even begin courting. further, courtship doesn't happen without accountability and usually not for a long time. so again, i see a lot of dating culture in the west and i have questions. like kissing before marriage or holding hands etc or going out alone without a chaperone or other friends.... i guess we must rely on the spirit for guidance..

I was speaking to a lovely woman in Canada for three years.. but she was a self professing pagan. You see the devil manifest in unbelievers. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt.. but a certain point I realized I was disobeying God and casting pearls to swine. Your spouse is supposed to be your spiritual covering Praying for you all the time while you honor God together as your two flesh become one. Why would you marry someone who is of the devil? No doubt the only reason I was considering marrying my long distance girl was in large part lust of the flesh.. you might think it’s mean to call an unbeliever a child of satan but by default anyone who rejects Christ is anti christ!! If you are meant to be with them than God will transform their heart for them to be converted to the truth before that happens
2 Corinthians 6:14 tells us not to: Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
