Himachali women put on a lively Jhamakda folk dance

Jhamakda is a folk dance of Kangra in Himachal Pradesh. It is exclusively performed by women. It features percussion instruments and songs. This performance took place at the Surajkund Crafts Mela in Haryana in February 2020.

In lower Himachal people worship the epic Guga Jahar Veer, we can trace the history of this Idol in Rajsthan. And it's mentioned in the folk of Himachal. People use to migrate for trade, in the situation of war etc.
