I’m playing elsa in my school musical this spring, as an alto, this song is SOOO hard. if anyone has any tips i will gladly take them. “Dangerous to Dream” is another hard song, and i already had to take that last beautiful note and bring us down to a note i can sing. 😢😢

The reason why I'm watching this video is because my community theater is going to do Frozen In Summer of next year and they already had the auditions for the first show of next year so I feel like auditions are really coming soon and it would be cool if the first show that I can be in I play Elsa so I will be constantly watching this video learning more and more yay

My problem with high notes is that I keep controlling my voice. I can’t let it out or it becomes out of tune 🥺🥺🥺 I don’t dare to let my voice out! I can sing perfectly for low notes but when it comes to higher, my throat stoped it and controlled it, more like air sound than open sound. I hope u know what I meant. That happens everytime tho not just in this song. 🥺🥺🥺 Plz help me!

Hi, may I know what is chest voice? I'm kinda a beginner and I need this for class performance
Chest voice is mainly what you should sing in. There are two kinds of voices; chest voice and head voice. You typically sing lower in your chest voice, and higher in your head voice. Try it.

I love this, thank you. Question for you: I have a low voice. That "A" I cannot sing in chest voice, I have to switch at C/B. (Breaks my heart) I find it very challenging, as I would love to have a higher chest voice and sing pop music, but most of it's too high in chest, but my head voice is actually very high, so I guess I should be working on my mixed voice? Can you recommend any artists I might sing along to? I sing a lot of songs by male singers successfully... And "torch" songs (maybe I should just stick to that!). I'm learning a lot from your lessons, thank you so much. Update: Right after writing this, I found your vid, How to Expand your range. Very helpful!
