I trust our Gurus with our life (they fought died and won prevailed aginst Chrstanity and Islamic invasions and will do so again) the ultimate no bullshit hard advice to navigating life and apprently soft greedy Influencers are called Gurus? really ? are you people cultural maligining Dharmic culture or is it the west and there sphear of influence do deminsh the power of these words like guru or pundit because they embrassed preachers and imams who debated them with there knowledge so now they label everything negative guru and pundit to create negative PR.
"live poor, die rich". Damn, that perfectly sums all of the investment advice that I've ever heard anyone talking about.
You can't be serious... Can anyone live a rich extraordinary life? Absolutely! But can everyone do that? This is the life boat and not everyone can get in. No one talks about the ones that drowned trying. This is pure survivor bais.
To summarize, you have to produce something that will solve people's problems and meet their needs.
Unlike this video which was just a waste time hehe
@@forestkane_ not really. Infact, people needs to know why they have to do these things. No reason, no attitude.
The hardest part is getting that target market right, no?
@@chingchingbling2145 yeah, maybe you can't earn anything for years. I mean until you get to the target market. Like Ruri
@@chingchingbling2145 many people have good ideas and targets but the make or break point of any business is the marketing and sales. You can make ton of money with pretty much everything if you are passionate about your business concept and your customers needs and if you are an expert in sales and marketing
Protecting your capital is much more important than making money. Basically because if you lose your capital, making money is much harder. ''Missing the train'' vs. ''losing your money''. There are a lot of trains, but if your money is gone, it's over.
Wall Street pitched so-called quality stocks with high profitability and low debt, as a kind of insurance against whatever the economy might throw at you. Quality stocks have underperformed the S&P500 this year, My $200k portfolio is down by approximately 20 %, any recommendations to scale up my returns on investment
Nobody knows anything You need to create your own process, manage risk and stick to the plan, through thick or thin While also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
Exactly why i enjoy market decisions being guided by a pro , seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk management and market experience , been using a portfolio-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over $3million in that time frame.
Do you mind sharing info on the adviser who assisted you? I'm 39 now and would love to grow my stock portfolio and plan my retirement

Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. A trader made over $350k in this recession influenced market
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a-lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
The best course of action if you lack market knowledge is to ask a consultant or investing coach for guidance or assistance. Speaking with a consultant helped me stay afloat in the market and grow my portfolio to about 65% since January, even though I know it sounds obvious or generic. I believe that is the most effective way to enter the business at the moment.
@@maryHenokNftbravo! I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?
Definitely! All of this happened in less than a year after *Gertrude Margaret Quinto* told me what to do. I started with less than $100,000, and now I'm about 17,000 short of having a quarter million dollars.
I am going to look her up, I have about $81k i want to start with, might be small but it's better than nothing though. Since the 08 crash is playing out again.
Not everyone can be on the fast lane, majority will be on the slow lane. I think it is best to be on both lanes as you can be. Invest into the 401, ETFs, etc. but also save a portion of that to be invested in a passive income as well. Do not spend all you have earned and create a rule to spend only a fraction. I agree with Ruri.

My and my partner are going to be completely debt free in the next year and I’m 26. We will have enough in savings to build our own small dream home, and are getting ready to open our own business in the next three years. We’ve lost so many friends and family because they all tell us we are crazy and too strict and we were tired of hearing them tell us how we would never achieve what we want. We’ve been living comfortably while getting debt free and still taking vacations and eating out within reason. It’s so possible and so with in reach with a mindset shift and discipline!
Lol
Mindset and discipline are key parts. So many people will try to tell you how to live your own story. When really their is a goal that's being worked towards. And the discipline helps keep you on track from conforming on what others tell u to do. (This is my basic perspective to this topic)

I never thought I would have such a good video with this title. Most of the time I was annoyed by "how to get rich" videos because most of them didn't even think about how hard this path is and didn't take other people's feelings into account. I thought they didn't even remember that we are still human and want joy in our lives, but this video I thought was so beautiful and had a different flavor in this situation. Through your videos I now realized how much I can change and I started in the summer of 2023, now I am in 2024 and impressed by my changes in such a time. Thank you for your videos and honest opinions 👍
I am 53 years old. My talented years pretty much used up. I am broke because of health issues that robbed me of my ability to walk. I was a mortician and a welder, neither of which I can do without walking. You have all this great advice for people in their 20s.
So you are feeling sorry for yourself?
This is just not true. I'm 62 and have started my own business without money-hardly any at all. I'm making enough money to live and intend scaling my business up soon. Probably this summer.

While true earn as much as you can save as much as you can and invest is a slow method, but that is only way for most people. Most people are not so gifted to come up with great idea or motivated enough to push yourself or courageous enough to risk and bet your life on business. I became net worth of 35 million with 25 multifamily properties and ETFs at age 50 using what you called slowlane. I am confidently on my way to 100 million in next 10 years. I still live frugal life in 3 bedroom house and drive Honda but I am always happy. I don't watch finance influencers and don't agree with them on lots of stuff too but my way is the only way and anything else is "wrong", "bad", "scam" make you sound like those finance influencers.

Wow!!! So happy to see you here! Thank YOU!!!Your book changed my mind completely! Huge fan🔥
This is a dangerous way of thinking. I've tried to start businesses but failed and have climbed the corporate ladder. I have more freedom/time in my current role than I ever did as a small business owner. The key is don't lifestyle creep as you're climbing the ladder. I still live like I'm on my original salary even though I make 5 times that amount. My peers live the "fancy" lives seen on social media but they're also spending far more and complaining to me about payments that have to be made on houses and cars.
Couldn't agree with you more. The guy is making money selling his books, but most Americans will never do anything like that. There is nothing wrong with having a good job in a field that you enjoy, with a good salary. If you invest wisely in safer funds, over time, you will be fine. Don't play the markets, just save. I'm retired military and have had a pension for over 20 years now. We do charity work whenever we can and have traveled all over the world. I don't need a Ferrari. My Toyota Tundra has served me well. Am I mediocre as this author says? I don't think so.
@@albraun-sq6rgshe’s literally mocking people who made wise financial decisions through the “slow lane” and trying to get them to gamble it all on some startup idea that will fail 99.9% of the time. All to get them to buy her courses or links to affiliates. Very unethical.
@@The.Harsh.Truths Yeah usually I like her messaging but this one isn't it for me. Also the idea that if you had "even 1 point" you have a bad mindset when there are literally people who are born into poverty with no opportunities, and plenty of people who are born into rich circumstances and just inherit all of their wealth.
And I am speaking from the point of view of someone who is straight in the middle of the road of these two.
@@BusyCasual yes exactly. I don't live pay check to pay check and I'm also smart enough to realize that money doesn't buy happiness. Oh and I know lots of miserable humans who also happen to be rich.

Great video and it really hit home. One tip I live by: always double-check the advice from those gurus against your personal goals and situation. Not all advice fits everyone. Thank you for this video, ive been in a financial mindset lately, I read the book “rich af” and the girl who wrote it left wallstreet and ended up makling millions from her own ideas and business.
I am no financial guru, but saving money doesn't necessarily mean depraving yourself from having a quality life. Living frugally just means not wasting money unecessarily on stuff where you can get cheaper (and just as good) alternatives, like prepairing yourself a nice meal at home instead of a resturant, and throwing a party at home instead of going to the club, (ofc. You can still do that sometimes) and buying unknown brands instead of high end brands. Its all about spending money on something that will truly make you happy, and you know you enjoy for a long time.

Ruri you always give the best advice. Money is not everything. There is a great image that shows 'Before enlightenment' and it shows a man doing mundane tasks and he is angry and about to explode. Then it says "After enlightenment' and its the same man doing the same mundane tasks, only this time he has a smile on his face.
Easier said than done. That's why there are more people take the long route, there is proven track record with it too. There is no guarantee in either fast or slow. Since you gave an example of you could die tomorrow, same could be said for fast lane. you wont even have the time to see your business grow or come to fruition. There is no universal fit way.
I've wasted my life time working, now I have a heart disease (genetic condition) and don't have much time left, I'm neither rich nor happy. Don't waste your time working paycheck to paycheck, cause one day you might have no time left, no money, no health (like in my case) and will not even realise it.

Half of Americans have zero for retirement. Median Vanguard balance is $200,000 which allows you to live on $667/month. TH-cam, the echo chamber of people telling other people to look the other way as they attempt to make a living. Great advice!
WHY would I wait till I’m so old that I can’t even go to the bathroom alone to be rich? Use your youth while you got it because if you don’t you’ll regret it. I see so many middle age adults who end up having a mid life crisis because they never lived their youth to its fullest. Go live in another country and study there, travel, find love, go on adventures, and you will die the wealthiest person.
You enjoy having money just as much and even more as you get older. You don’t feel different than you did in your 20s except the world sees you differently. Being well off at this stage of life if like a buffer against a world that is growing indifferent toward you. Make sure you look after future you. Save and invest for when you are 65.
Market highs can sometimes be followed by corrections, but predicting the timing and extent of it is challenging. I've heard some analysts talk about a 'massive' correction. It makes me wonder if it's time to adjust my $2M portfolios or maybe even consider some defensive investments.
Consider diversifying your portfolio with a mix of stocks and stable assets. Seeking professional advice now could provide valuable insights and strategies to navigate market uncertainties and protect your investments.
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst.
Please can you leave the info of your lnvestment advsor here? I’m in dire need for one

That book called me out, changed my life and put me on the path I'm on to fulfilling my potential in reality, not thought.
It's completely true. If you want to become wealthy, you have to invest your money in something that generates more money. It could be buying a house to rent out, stocks, starting a company, cryptocurrency. It doesn't matter what you invest in, as long as it brings in more money for you. You can also leverage the tax system to pay less tax (this varies a bit depending on the country you live in). I wish I had this knowledge 10 years ago
You are *amazing* . So glad I discovered you in 2023.

Not everyone can be an entrepreneur. The book assumes you are a genius who can create and operate their own business, as well as be intelligent enough to get your taxes done correctly.
Another self help guru who earns his money selling these books. Best for young people to get a good college education (public university) and learn to think intelligently and become flexible in attitude, then work in a field they enjoy, save and invest safely, and don't spend over their means. Much less stressful than owning a business. Been there, done that. I enjoy my military pension. A million dollars won't make me any happier. I've served, and am still serving, and my wife and I love doing that.
Everyone can be an entrepreneur, but not everyone can be successful as an entrepreneur. Majority would lose their money.
With this mindset of course you will never be one.
@@AntonioII You are wrong. I am one. But the couple of million I have in investments and savings will go to family and charities. I grew that money over time not needing it or caring about it. Slow lane strategy worths in 2 ways either you live a long life and you need a passive income to keep living or it passes down to your kids. I grow up with a father who got tantrums every time his salary fails to compensate our expenses. To my experience as long as you broke no matter how much free time you got, grief chases you.

She is back
Almost had a heart attack 😬 but this video saved me. Great value here, thank you
If every business could be automated then I think that they already would, and no one could be in the slow lane.
Don’t actually take her advice seriously. She’s just parroting the usual get rich quick talking points.
I'm only 6 minutes into the video and I think you changed my life. I've been living this way forever but never had the framing and perspective of what I was doing. I've been rich with freedom which explains why the recent inflation has turned everything upside down. My equilibrium has been totally disrupted. I can't live the life of Luxury in Moderation I did before. I feel poor because I can't afford toothpaste. Maybe I need another re-framing at this point? I'll finish the video and see what you say.
I plan on getting rich very soon. It’s basically a cannon event. I can feel it in my bones, it’s an unexplainable feeling I randomly started getting. It could be soon, it could be later, but it’s supposed to happen.
Presently, we still have that outdated view for life and finances. Work hard, study, save etc which worked for 40-60 yrs ago as there was no other means of making money except for getting a profession and working for a company and saving money. Fast forward, internet, computers and social media has changed everything and opened up a much bigger world.
You gained some value vouchers!
It's the best time to start your own business and crush it!
I loved MJ demarco's book "unscripted"! Definitely recommend that as well. Its a long book but kept me very interested, it doesnt drag just so many truth bombs and so motivating. Has helped me focus. I will also read this one here too though, thank you!
Good message, the TH-cam and people needed it! but scalability is overrated in my opinion. You can be a skilful craftsman who produces few pieces a year and because of it’s rarity and your craftsmanship the value of pieces will be great and time spent worth it. How many print on demand shirts can you sell until you became annoying and oversaturate the market? That’s basically fashion approach. Scalability in business is fast fashion route, but you can go Hermes route or do like even more high end fashion houses do (not many people even know their names but the prices there… you can’t even buy them online)
Thank you for this video! Ruri❤

$$$ doesn't buy happiness... it just helps with alleviating, stress. If implemented strategically, of course.
