I guess you need two single modules to do a “two amp” setup using the stereo amp and the stereo cabinet or you would have highlighted that possibility. Not having that option with the two unit module seems like a big miss to me.
I have completely lost interest in digital modeling. I really love my current setup, but this is exactly what I have been waiting for. I am really excited.. My rig is like a 4 channel setup: Ultra Clean with compressor( ch4). (Ch3) lead boost or Wampler SLO (Ch.2) Catalinbread DLS and Xotic SP set as boost., (Ch. 1) Bogner Red Ecstacy. has it's own boost. So it is really like 7 channel amp.
So basically it saves on a a separate cab sim, loadbox, a whole bunch of separate amps /cabs with the desired tone, and the space that goes along with it if you choose to go with the all ir solution. That's great home studio equipment.
I built a Faux Amp head to get stereo in a single head. I have a tube preamp/ MosValve and an ADA Micro cab II which is what I am using now. I use a BOSS MS-3 and some pedals in that switcher. I pass thru stereo out the Boss MS-3 then into 4 stereo fx devices and send a stereo feed into stereo returns into my stereo tube preamp/poweramp/speaker sime in a head setup. I really love this concept. I am very curious about this setup. Wonder if there is a bypass setting to use any of the sounds I have in my MS-3 switcher plus the modules. I am glad to see that this SYNERGY works with the other manufacturers.
I asked this of Synergy but they haven't gotten back to me....the only stereo is the effects loop and output right? You can't run say one preamp on the left and a separate preamp on the right like a SLO and Friedman run together rather than switching between the two. I'm thinking I'd need to SYN1's to do what I want right?
I love my Sys-2 System... I love watching all of your videos man! You definitely made this an easy decision for me! Now I just need to get that Torpedo Studio to finish off the full stereo setup.
Thats for the great Synergy videos, Im sold, I got the Syn-2, Fryette Pittbull UL module and the Vai module!! Was really close to getting 2 Ultralead modules, but I can do that later
+Nehemias Cifuentes the stereo part is the FC loop and any stereo effects you might wan to use.... with the rocker you could go back into it stereo and keep it stereo, so yes, that would work!
Not too sure why he's going on about "true stereo". Without some form of time-based effect, the signal from a guitar amp is mono. You could call this dual-mono if you like but until it hits the strymon (in this case) both signals are identical. it's still a mono signal. Am I missing something? Is there something in the speaker sim that emulates dual (i.e. stereo) room mics?
could you please tell me how good of two notes stuido power sim to a real cab compare to 5050 power amp ? . I want to use stuido power amp sim with axe-fx3 to a real cab.thanks.
Licensing. Fender is not giving their name out to a company they don't own. Notice only "small" amp companies decided to work with Friedman on this. They need the money unlike Fender or Marshall.
Hello my friend, I’d like to know how to literally hook up everything in the back of the synergys (which cables goes where) I just bought the Syn2 ( with a Friedman and Diezel modules) and the syn 50/50. I also got the chance bliss cmx 1978 and the eventide H9 max I really loved the sound of this video in stereo and I’d like to play live as in this video if possible I have different cabs (2X12-4x12) 4-8-16 ohms Lastly, I also have the two notes torpedo captor I could used your help Thank you.. saludos!!!
Hey man, hope you're well! I know you have an issue with a digital copy with monetary gains to the company of origin. But why do you support the use of ''800'' as one of the amps? As this is as you know, as you've stated, and compared a JCM 800. I just think there isn't a consistent line of point on your behalf. If there is a difference, then let me know. Is Marshall getting paid as you say about the others for the 800?
Marshall and Fender are in the loop and OK with the system. This was all done the way it should be done. That is where the difference is.... can’t really say more.
@EytschPi42 Can you run both modules at the same time into a Stereo Power Amp? For example, VH4 in the Left Channel and HBE in the Right Channel running simultaneously through a SYN 5050 power amp. Is that possible?
I didn't understand much the connections. I understood there is a stereo FX loop. But, for example, if I want to insert effects, in stereo, in front of the amp, how do I it?
Could you run that thru a boss ES8 and switch between wet/dry & stereo or wet/dry/wet rigs, and still use conventional compressor modulation & delay pedals?
Not sure who this is but I appreciate the response, I see how you would patch in for stereo on the ES8, but how would you patch in for wet/dry, so the modulation, delays & reverb pedals only go to 1 of 2 amps, but the fuzz, compressor, boost & overdrive pedals go to both amps? Thanks again, e
Use just the upper input to the SYN-5050 and you get two 50 watt amps fed by the same signal. Use just the lower input and you get one 50 watt amp (Channel B). Flip the Mono/Stereo switch on the rear panel and you get a 100 watt bridged mono amp connected to the Channel A impedance selector, fed by the upper (i.e. Channel A) input, and the lower input (Channel B) is disconnected. It's all in the manual, downloadable from the Support page on the Synergy site.
love the content and understand your modeling stance but you ignore the fact that Synergy are doing the same thing with the 800, B man, T deluxe, etc. Unless they are cutting checks to Fender & Marshall they are guilty of the same conduct you take issue with.
F and M are in the loop and are Ok with the system... this was done the way it was supposed to be done, which can’t be said for most of the digital companies who don’t contact the amp manufacturers and try to work with them. As far as I know, the relationships between Synergy and those brands are good.
wow that is shocking, you would think they would trumpet that point. Thank you for the thorough content. You always seem to have a deep understanding of the products you present. I can always depend on you to give me an honest snapshot of a product before I buy the gear. Happy New Year
It is no different to any stereo setup . I used to play two Marshall heads one pre amp into stereo effect out to the two power amps. The common and easy way for stereo. How many vids did you agree to make to get the BE and DS ? I was thinking about getting the synergy but your sound on these vids has put me off.
its much smaller than 2 heads, its also more flexible as you can swap modules. I'm surprised the sound on these vids has put you off, its a pretty impressive DI tone IMO. Each to his own I guess
Not sure how Kemper rips off anyone ? To profile for the Kemper with the other brands, someone had to buy the other brands equipment and then do the footwork behind profiling the other brand(s), which is no easy task for hours of labor, at that point does the artist get paid to produce that sound and I think that happens too. And of course, everyone wants to get max pay for that contribution too. The other brands got paid, without the other brands, there is no Kemper profile beyond what Kemper interprets as the amp and then there has to be an artists/musicians sound on the back end of that process (the existence of the Vai module). When you look at Synergy, that's the tube amp world's answer to the Kemper. Who knows, the Kemper may get replaced by the Synergy as king of the hill in this ? I think the victims of this are the consumers, we're supposed to pay for it all. Just me, I'm an amp brand loyalist, neither the Synergy nor the Kemper are going to be the system in my home/studio. Can't afford either as a base system nor the next module alternative. The way I see it, since solid state does effects for pedals, even the all tube world becomes solid state in front of or into an effects loop at some point. Introducing that into the chain of effects pedals and perhaps the other brands even need to do that for their modules as a digital profile, perfecting a proprietary file or operating system like Microsoft or Apple does ? Where Synergy is going to lose to Kemper has to be the $ 399 module. I don't see why I'm buying the same set of knobs and switches with a different logo or brand name stamped on it. Sooner or later that stack of identical modules are going to look like the stack of VHS tapes from the 80's & 90's. Back to a $ 399 hoard of clutter. Here's a thought, same standard issue Synergy module for knobs & switches (and why even then have that at all, it would be integrated into the unit), a USB 3 port or whatever & memory stick of the other brands & artists collaborations with all the profiles you want on them ? I hear the gripes of the funky names of the Kemper digital profiles, is that a file naming issue or metadata tags that can be changed with an open source file editor even. I don't like either the Kemper or Synergy for it's physical appearance & dimensions, that's probably why even some of the other brands, that certain models don't sell as well in their own product lines ?
And now that Synergy is gaining momentum, Kemper can now get a Synergy & it's modules, spend a few hours profiling that too. Synergy loses this battle & war again, because they are trading out on bulkier & more expensive physical module units, rather than digital files loaded into memory or on a portable memory stick. The Kemper profiles of Synergy will be so close as interpretations to the Synergy, perhaps even preferred profiles over the original. That's where the tube amp world seems to be losing the war ?
I guess you need two single modules to do a “two amp” setup using the stereo amp and the stereo cabinet or you would have highlighted that possibility. Not having that option with the two unit module seems like a big miss to me.
I want this but don’t need it. Therefore, I must have it.
This with the TC G System is just a stellar setup with full control 😊
I have completely lost interest in digital modeling. I really love my current setup, but this is exactly what I have been waiting for. I am really excited.. The solo tone at the start was seriously impressive. Well done sir!
So basically it saves on a a separate cab sim, loadbox, a whole bunch of separate amps /cabs with the desired tone, and the space that goes along with it if you choose to go with the all ir solution. That's great home studio equipment.
WOW. Cool concept. You get two different amps in stereo. Nice.
A stereo fenderish analog spring reverb in rack-format would be a nice adition.
The soldano module sounds cool

Ordering the syn 1 with the vh4 module and the two notes Cab, as christmas gift to me. Great videos!/David
No idea why I have been watching the whole video series about a product I don't need ! 😂
because you LOVE me!
To quote someone important: "Because it's there."
And for me because Henning is very entertaining
Thats for the great Synergy videos, Im sold, I got the Syn-2, Fryette Pittbull UL module and the Vai module!! Was really close to getting 2 Ultralead modules, but I can do that later
You got me addicted to Synergy
Super cool stereo sound. Thanks to test my home studio monitors setup.😂😂😂 Good job and also nice details info..........
Caved and got a Syn 2 and 5 modules. What have you done...
you went off the deep end LOL
Does this come with the two modules shown
Excellent job H.P.
Could you use this with a orange rocker 32 and keep it stereo or as soon as you use this unit with an amp it'll make it mono?
+Nehemias Cifuentes the stereo part is the FC loop and any stereo effects you might wan to use.... with the rocker you could go back into it stereo and keep it stereo, so yes, that would work!

no, the effects return is stereo and the effects, if you have any, make it stereo...
Just add rackmount cabinet that looks like an amp head!
EytschPi42 Nice demo... But where does the buzzing come from? (14:53) Bad power supply??? Thank you, PK
My studio has some grounding issues right now!
could you please tell me how good of two notes stuido power sim to a real cab compare to 5050 power amp ? . I want to use stuido power amp sim with axe-fx3 to a real cab.thanks.
Is it possible to use streroe-out of syn2 with only one module running?
yes
Just curious as to why the T/ Deluxe and B/man don’t say Fender on them and I haven’t heard mention of Fender as a provider.
Licensing. Fender is not giving their name out to a company they don't own. Notice only "small" amp companies decided to work with Friedman on this. They need the money unlike Fender or Marshall.

it’s really not that complicated… biting you want to record the stereo setup, you would need two Captors
Is there like a diagram of the back of your strymon pedals and the syn2 to have a better idea?
Gracias!

Mesa has stereo tube power amps. I have the 2x50w.
I didn't understand much the connections. I understood there is a stereo FX loop. But, for example, if I want to insert effects, in stereo, in front of the amp, how do I it?
You don’t I believe. I don’t believe there’s stereo input.
Could you run that thru a boss ES8 and switch between
wet/dry & stereo or wet/dry/wet rigs, and still use conventional compressor modulation & delay pedals?
e chicago Yes you could!

e chicago you can route two seperate loops in parallel. .each running to seperate L&R outs!!
I think there is missing fx loop switch on that midi controller. how are u gonna switch the effects on/of ?
I agree, it should be switchable!
Off topic...are you going to do a video regarding your thoughts on the Ernie Ball Paradigm strings?
not sure yet
can you use the pre-amps alone without the use of a power-amp and cab and just go straight to FoH (Kemper/Axe style) - No load required
+Simon Persson Music yes
Which modules did you find accept Pedals a bit better
Can someone help me pls 😢 I would like to activate/disable the fxloop of my syn-2 with boss es8 midi but I cant find a a way or solution. 😔
Henning, what guitar is that?
Hat es ein stereo fx-loop? 2 send, 2 return?
1 send, 2 return
Still not 100% sure on how Henning was integrating the Timeline and Mobius with the Syn-2 in stereo...if anyone can explain I'll be forever grateful!
it has a stereo FX loop
@@EytschPi42 Ahhh cool...somehow I was under the impression that it had stereo Inputs. Thank you!
Dumb question, how do you bridge the stereo output to mono?
Use just the upper input to the SYN-5050 and you get two 50 watt amps fed by the same signal. Use just the lower input and you get one 50 watt amp (Channel B). Flip the Mono/Stereo switch on the rear panel and you get a 100 watt bridged mono amp connected to the Channel A impedance selector, fed by the upper (i.e. Channel A) input, and the lower input (Channel B) is disconnected. It's all in the manual, downloadable from the Support page on the Synergy site.
Mark Hamstra oh, thanks
Hi, what's the guitar's brand ??
The guitar is a QUENZEL M3. Hennig did a video about it. th-cam.com/video/YzENJQnCL8w/w-d-xo.html
Who is it that you have as the music over the animals at the video end these days?
should say it in the end card... it changes
