@@Deciboles nice grooves. i'm in the middle of wrapping my head around sequencing Blackbox from Pyramid as well. with Clip mode, do you find it as hard as I'm finding it to keep Clips sync'd to Pyramid's internal clock? especially if i want to make even slight BPM changes, it seems that Clips don't actually track with the tempo automatically the way they should.
@@haciendaUS the BlackBox has always been a bit slow to respond to tempo changes. I'm not 100% sure but my observation is that the tempo of clips is only adjusted at the start of the clip. My workaround for this is setting the pad to GATE mode with a short release. The sequenced note in the Pyramid should be as many steps long as the loop. This way the Pyramid clock is triggering the sample and simulating a quick on/off 'toggle', so to speak. I hope that helps!
@@Deciboles yeah, definitely using Gate mode for short drum loops, and longer vocal samples. if it were just Pyramid with one project at a time, i wouldn't sweat it so much but when i get Hapax this month, transitioning between two active projects at once is likely to need more rigorous tempo controls. at least i'm more sure i'm not crazy and this is kind of just the way BB works with an external sequencer. thanks!

Yes! BB is sequenced by Pyramid and controlled with the LaunchControl
