- Did my daughter commit suicide or was killed? That is the question a distraught mother, Monica Wangari wants the authorities to answer. Monica says that on that fateful day, she left her 12-year old daughter Hopeline, in their house in Mwiki for work. She was in high spirits. Hope did her her chores, ate her lunch and and some point, she came out of the house to play with other kids.
But at around 2pm, on returning home, Monica found her daughter Hope, hanging, behind the door. A scarf was around her neck. On arrival to hospital, Hope didn't make it. Police simply closed the file with the a reason that the 12-year old girl, committed suicide. However, Monica disagrees and says that there is more......

The saddest part of life is when the person who gave you the best memories becomes a memory.
1st aid should be taught in schools, if that child was breathing, maybe, just maybe if they had done CPR, they would have saved her.

Ngai! Fafa; My deepest condolences. One of the reasons for post-Morten is to get cause of death and at a minimum the family should get the pathologist report of findings. How can the police officer become a doctor and conclude it’s suicide? Too many questions regarding this death.
If you listen very well you will hear her say post Mortem showed the girl was healthy!
I suggest if you decide to speak in your languages. Put an option of translating I English like the title is in English so people get interested to following the story only to be disappointed with the language spoken. This concerns to all vlogs please

This is so sad. Is a postmortem not supposed to give a course of death? Some things are not adding up here. The fact that they did not give the family a postmortem report copy is even making more questions. So sorry Monica. May God you help you as you mourn your daughter. As a mother, my heart is bleeding.
I thought the same too...the postmortem is supposed to give the cause of death... otherwise what's the need of performing it..in medical we are taught:-
A hospital (or non-coronial) autopsy may be performed if the immediate family give their consent.
A coroner’s autopsy is performed if the coroner or police need information about the cause of death - for example, if the person was murdered or their death was suspicious.

Good point about ADHD. I was wondering about that too because of what the mother said about her excessive noise making in class, and also playing outside the house with younger kids until she’d be cautioned to stop.
What's ADHD? What are the main signs? Someone else might learn & take action before it's too late
It’s Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder which increases risk of suicide. Am just thinking this kid got bored coz there no lights. Triggered her restlessness. Tried to play with the scarf with no intention of self harm but it just happened.

ADHD can affect a child at school, at home, and in friendships.
@@irenemuthura2952 Most of the kids in school who were considered trouble makers, noise makers, badly behaved, don’t pay attention, don’t follow directions, can’t sit still, hit other kids, destroy things, etc etc, in most cases they have ADHD. They are hypeactive, always moving. It’s rarely diagnozed especially in third world countries like kenya.

The postmortem report could have answered all these questions like ; was she defiled? Was there any signs of struggle?

Oh noooooo noone could do CPR on the child? Woi poor mother and child but please how can she tell such a story in such an environment by the pool with loud music? Honestly a change of space even sitting in the car would have been more sensitive. Finally did she lock the door with a key before leaving the house? What about her father where is he? Or any other relative? The DCI should have been involved. What pictures was she looking at on your phone?

My nephew used to be given ten bob by the teacher then he used to have funny behaviors like he want to kill himself and also he would say someone is telling him to kill his sister and he was once found red-handed with a knife almost to kill his sister.he had to be transferred from that school and the mother is more prayerful than ever.

I am thinking, could it be that Hope was playing with her friends or trying to arrange the room somehow and had the scarf on, coz she loved it...maybe kalipanda juu and unfortunately she slipped and the scarf got stuck somewhere on the door...on her struggles to try and remove the scarf from where it stuck, the scarf got tighter on her neck & she started loosing air.

In my town, there is a baby girl who died mamake akiwa salon, akahang na scarf kwa 2nd floor balcony wakicheza na watoto wengine. The scarf was on her neck😭 wakicheza...so it got stuck & she hanged down...dead😢

Sorry for the Mother, but if you listen the story the killer attacked child, while sleeping and maybe the child recognize him, so he used a pillow to kill the child, the hang her on the door, after make sure the child is dead, he took the breath of the child using pillow, and cover the story by hanging the body behind the door,

I watched this story and I have a question. The mother states that the girl was still br when found. Why didn't anyone attempt CPR Cardio pulmonary resuscitation just a simple first aid before rushing her to hospital? Am so sorry Monica, there's a lot of things not adding up. Justice for Hope
Which part of Kenya are you !??? otherwise in kenya not many taught to do CPR or they know is to hurry take the injured to the hospital , a panicked mother could only scream if not faint .
@@blessedmama5367 sad that they don't teach First Aid which can safe life...l am in Australia and kids are taught first Aid from Kindergarten they may not be able to perform CPR at that age but can call triple zero and give information about the person unconcious...then as kids get older they're taught how to perform CPR.
Maybe that's something kenyan govt should give...free First Aid course which is only 2 days course

@@blessedmama5367 developed countries people call the police and ambulance when they hear the screem and they respond within minutes...l do the same too if l hear screaming in the night... but if l find someone unconscious or needing help l give First Aid and call for help. This story reminds me of my first rescue of a 13 yrs old girl who was hanging in a hospital toilet and she used the string from the track pants...we saved her and now she's studying medicine 🙏
